I can't see many people entering this one, but here it is anyway! Absolutely terrible game, but a high score comp is a high score comp, the game is irrelevant it's the score that matters! Game On!!!

As always I've started a high score thread to coincide with my latest SMS Quest, but I've gone ahead and put ian's score in top spot already ! I really enjoyed playing through this again and now I know how to earn that special bonus (check the game database entry) I'm gonna give it a few more tries and see if I can get somewhere close to the top spot . Greta game, possibly the best game I've ever played Get your scores in, I know you've all got this one!!! Game On!!!

I generally keep manuals that have scores/cheats written in them over mint ones as long as they're in good condition, adds a bit of history to the game . Personally I don't write on the manuals, but I have notebooks full of scores, maps, tips and passwords that I've written down over the years

I think the list at the beginning of this topic needs to be updated again. Last update was like 3 months ago, and a ton of stuff has happened. I shall have a look through and update all the scores in a minute Just for fun, I checked this high score list against the one on Twin Galaxies, here's the scores I found. You got too much spare time on your hands! Get setting some scores instead of checking everyone elses . Cool idea though, I've beaten loads of the world records in the past, just never been arsed with submitting them, too many rules to remember! My Ninja score wouldn't count though, I think it states in the rules for that one that you can only loop it twice or something and no tree trick. I could max score it in one run legitimately but it's tough to pull off! I do think we should get some sega8bit members in the records though, I'm sure we could beat pretty much every WR between us

mega games 1- £2.99 including delivery, boxed, ad says includes manuals, I think they are photocopies Mega games 1 came packaged with the original manuals on pack ins and fold out regional black and white manuals for the retail copies, the case doesn't close very well with all 3 original manuals .

Im bringing an sms with missile defense built in, a phaser, some 3d glasses, handle controller with pedals and a few games, should be fun . Gonna try my best to win this year, but there's two games in the comp that I dislike already :/

Downstairs, head into the food hall and go left, you'll see a big sign saying Konami, I think they sell it as a bowling alley but there's some kick ass cabs in there!

The most relaxing game I can think of is California Games. The gameplay is pretty slow-paced and some of the music is good to chill out to. WWF Steel Cage Challenge is pretty sleep-inducing! Haha, any excuse to chuck an insult at WWF ;D. I find The Ninja quite relaxing, I can play that game for hours on end, whether it be completing the game over and again or looping the end section, I just find it therapeutic (if that's spelt right it's a fluke )

I'll be there, booked my hotel the other day. Not sure whether to buy tickets or not though, last years ticket queue was Fooking huge but the cash on the day entrants pretty much walked straight in... I'll probably decide closer to the time but cash looks good at the minute! If anyone wants to meet up on the Saturday night we could go to the Konami arcade in the trafford centre, they have a sweet Outrun cab and a Dark Escape 4D machine, if you haven't played that before you will be shocked by how awesome it is!!!!
