Hi all. I'm having a pig of a time trying to locate a copy of Sonic the Hedgehog with the instruction manual made in Thailand. Honk Kong, China and the pack in instructions were easy to spot because of the differences between them but I'm struggling to find a picture / description of what the made in Thailand instruction manual looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For the sms it has to be Super Kick Off. Me and a mate played this to death back in the day and I still play it to this day. The graphics are basic but the gameplay & tunes are addictive & catchy. I would go as far as to say it's probably the 3rd best retro football game of all time on any system (Sensible soccer for the Amiga and Microprose Soccer on the Commodore 64 being numbers 1 & 2 respectively)

Hahahah. I've seen the same copy of the Sonic US Barcode variant on ebay for £100 starting bid but each time it remained unsold without a single bid. I wonder why!

I used to collect anything retro including consoles controllers etc.. but decided to concentrate fully on the SMS games this time around (Saves on space). Having completed my Pal collection and with there being few Ntsc exclusives to collect I'm now going down the route of collecting the different variants. This should keep me entertained for a while!

I agree but as I only need to replace 8 Ntsc games (Common ones such as columns, afterburner etc..) I'm going to replace them with Pal but with the Ntsc games I'm going to stick to the exclusives only due to the high postage costs from the states!

Having recently completed my Euro Pal collection for the second time I noticed that a handful of the games are NTSC. So do I actually have a complete Pal collection? I'm going to replace the Ntsc games for pal ones over the next couple of months before I start collecting the Ntsc North American exclusives but will I then have a complete NTSC collection? What do you guys think?

Just 2 games short of completing my European collection (for the second time) so if anyone is thinking of selling Masters of Combat or Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine please get in touch. Must be in good condition and cib. Cheers.

Hi, most of your questions go way over my head but there are some pretty knowledgeable guys on here so hopefully someone will be able to help you out. As far as I know pretty much all master systems came with a rom chip with a preloaded game(s) that would run if no cart was detected on boot up (most likely hang-on, hang-on & Duck Hunt for the original SMS not to mention the secret snail maze game) It can be tricky to get an older console to run on a modern tv with an RF cable due to interference from other electronics such as sky boxes etc.. but an AV / Scart cable will solve that issue.

Hi, nice purchase. To try and help you identify this case could you tell us if it has 4 holes in one side (None padded side) If it does then it is most likely a salesman sample case (The sms would have been screwed to the case to save it from moving around )
