I recommend Tennis Ace. It is genuinely one of the best sports titles on any 8bit machine. I disagree and say Wimbledon 2 Micro Machines definitely, it's awesome in all forms on all systems

Yeah, the Lucky Dime Caper is a very good choice. Bright and vibrant and I love the scene it portrays; kids held prisoner aloft in that wooden cage, the bear menacingly approaching our hero with a beehive splattered on its head, and Donald standing firm - hiding a big wooden mallet behind his back. All under the watchful eye of Magica de Spell. Outstanding! Great game too. Yes, great cover, i like the bear, he's cute, though i still think they should've used Humphrey Bear and not a generic Disney Bear I voted for it in the cover voting tournament last year

I don't like it at all. Boring graphics, snail pace, not enough action, way too easy. The Arcade version already wasn't that great to begin with but all those home ports are just bad (The C64 is even worse than the MS version)

Well it was finally released for the PC (with blinking Denuvo ) but i'm really enjoying it. They did a nice mixture of old stages with some ehancements (Green Hill Zone Stage 1 is the MD1 version but with additional routes and secrets), some new stages and a variety of new ideas, creative new boss battles (in one you fight Robotnik by playing a round of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine) Only thing i don't like is that they took the stupid Sphere game for the Bonus Rounds (would've prefered the rollercoaster thing from Sonic 2) but also the Sonic CD Bonus Stages to get the Chaos Emeralds which is really good. I would go so far and say that it is the best Sonic game since Sonic & Knuckles (Sonic Generations was really good too but the 3D stages just were further proof that Sonic and 3D not really mix). The only really negative point is that the game only supports XInput, i was hoping i could play it with my Mega Drive Gamepad via USB Adapter without going to 3rd party software.

Yeah but he still looks like the guy from Aqua (you guys have to remember the Barbie girl song). 😜 Totally (and why do i even remember that shitty song?) My first post here was about some cables being compatible between the Mega Drive and Master System, MD2 in particular since i had nothing better at the time. Dec 30, 2003 at 2:13am...time really flies Wasn't the first board, i remember Sinistral's Forum that came 2002/2003 before this one, right? I have some faint memory of a topic where we changed GN'R's Welcome to the Jungle lyrics to fit the Master System. At least i'm pretty sure that happened.

Despite the janken matches being pretty synonmous with the original game, I was never a fan, so decided to take them out. I expected at least 1, just one because it was such a staple but it's not a big deal but really, it's a great game and you deserve a ton of praise for it. Now to make Pro Wrestling 2 If you do that i send my 2 cats after you and a raccoon...the cats to distract you while the racocon steals the source code of that.... "game" so it will never be finished!

I preordered it, then my PC broke down - so i hoped once i fixed it i can play it but then it was pushed back 2 weeks anyway...i'm still waiting (29th is the release date) I WANT IT NOW!
(and as a "sorry for the delay" i got Sonic 1 MD for the Mega Drive Collection, i already had it, so at least it was a gift for a good friend but still...lame, no response, no explanation, just "it's delayed, here's sonic 1 for you bitches")

I've written comments on various Youtube channels so far but let me tell you, Ian while we still might disagree over Pro Wrestling (and you bet your ass, brother, we will never agree about that one, brother ) i have to say this is the best thing from any homebrew crowd ever. I really enjoyed the game, it is really what i wanted from a second Miracle World...altough, no jankenpon boss battle...really? :-p But other than that, the level design, the music, everything is so awesome. Altough i think the biggest praise came from my father, he's still a gamer at heart, doesn't play as much as he did 30 years ago but i told him "It's Alex Kidd done right!" and he was interested, he played it and said "this was done by some guy? not Sega? Wow!" he was totally blown away from it

I think that's the only "shoot at humans" light gun game that isn't banned here in Germany because everything else is including MS games like Rambo 3 and Operation Wolf which is interesting, since the game basically screams "Banned on List A" at you.
It's a fun game, nice cute graphics and the gameplay still holds up since it looks to me like a 2D Light Gun version of the Guardian Angle mini game of Saints Row basically (where i wich a Light Gun was possible)

I should take a better look at Heroes of the Lance with emulator. I'm DrangonLance fanboy, read tens of books and played couple games. If you have to get an Atari ST or emulator and play that version. The game is pretty bad but the ST version is the "best" of them all with the Master System version ranking just slightly above the NES and PC versions.

Curious if it works for all peripherals. Yeah that Mayflash one works with everything that has a 9-Pin connector. Tried it with my Master System, Mega Drive and Amiga Joysticks/Gamepads. Windows automatically detects it as a generic Input with the correct number of buttons and directions.

1. Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2. Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Castle of Illusion 4. Shinobi 5. Wonderboy in Monsterland 6. Ultima IV 7. Sensible Soccer 8. Power Strike 9. Micro Machines 10. Bubble Bobble 11. Parlour Games 12. Ghostbusters
1-5 are the usual platform suspects. Ultima because as an RPG it takes some time. Rest to cover some more genres, Parlour Games features three games, so there's some padding and i like Ghostbusters as everybody knows.

How many more of those is ATGames throwing out?
They have already how many of those Atari things and at least 4 Mega Drive emulators and this here looks the same old stuff. Especially the Sega one: Once again no Super Hang-On or Super Monaco GP but instead it gets padded with flash/mobile games like Snake and Chess to get a high number of games. Kinda like false advertisement. This time it looks like they don't even include Sonic 3?!
The Atari one is the same, by now there have been compilations on all systems for the past 20 years. Game list also looks weird. No Pitfall 2?
