Apart from the usual soccer games, what other 2 player vs games are there? I think the proper term might be multiplayer. Not looking for games where 2 players take turns in playing i.e World Games.
P.S Is Mortal Kombat 1 of them?
Cheers.

Double Dragon - you only fight each other at the end though.

If its out of your price range why not invest £60 in a everdrive and have every game made? Then if you still want to collect you can take your time and pick and choose.

Regarding Putt & Putter, aren't all Golf games alternating turns? Would like to hear if someone knows one that isn't.
I recommend Tennis Ace. It is genuinely one of the best sports titles on any 8bit machine. Time Soldiers is a decent game which is also 2 player co-op so that's worth checking out too.

Yeah, that's what I am going to do. Seems the Mega Drive is the best best though, as can put other consoles onto it. The Master System one, is just that, Master System games aint it? Regarding Micro Machines, when I check Ebay, it's going for around £100. Is that the correct price? Or just chancers? P.S Thanks for the suggestions guys.

The Master System one, is just that, Master System games aint it? Yes, but the main advantage of the Master System Everdrive, I think, is that you can play the 3D games with it. That said, personally I opted for the Mega Drive/Genesis Everdrive. I did try to get sneaky and power on my SMS and 3D Glasses while playing a 3D game on the MD Everdrive... but it's almost impossible to get it to sync correctly to get a good 3D effect.

Definitely chancers, I normally value micro machines between £40-£50. Just nipped on eBay and see what you mean! If you look at sold listings it's more accurate to my valuation- you just have to keep an eye out

Md one does md and ms, if you attach a mega cd it does the games for that and likewise the 32x. I bought both the md and ms ones, if you aren't bothered about 3D then md is ideal, best of both systems

Gauntlet if you want to steal food from each other lol, or that is what it feels like even when you are trying to work together and it is not quite happening.

Ignore rip off BINs, keep watching, they turn up at auction fairly often and if you are ok with cart only you should get that for under a tenner.

So although Putt & Putter is alternating turns I think it differs slightly from other Golf games in that there are tactics that involve hitting the other players ball. A fun 2 player game is Pie Slap which is included on Cosmic Spacehead. Also Mean Bean Machine is great fun, when both players are quite good it's really fun racing to drop a big combo.
