Was looking through my box of spare games and it seems I have two copies of Laser Ghost . One with the light phaser printed on the cover and one with a light phaser sticker . I wonder what reason they had for changing the artwork ? I like both , in fact it's one of my favourites on the system . Are you in the UK Tap ? If not the cost of postage outside the UK would probably be more than the game . I think this game is quite common on ebay , should be easy to pick up .

Hi everyone, A few months ago I created a Youtube channel dedicated to retro gaming and this week I reviewed Psychic World, an awesome little hidden gem for the Master System. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy the video! I will try watch this if I get a chance theirs not enough people reviewing sms on youtube . It's always cool to see other peoples views on games , the only review from you that I've watched is sonic the hedgehog I'll be honest I was surprised at the end when you summed it up as " only an average 8 bit experience " but I guess the world would be a dull place it everyone liked the same things .

The game really needs to be US based. US sellers don't seem to like buying from the UK. I'll help if you want. I sold both US upc Sonic's that I had. Sold one for $325 (not through eBay, but from a buyer I "met" through eBay.) Of course you may loose out a little with the shipping cost, Paypal fees, etc. Still most likely better then you could do selling from the UK. Thanks for the offer of help , I just listed it on auction , I'm going to throw the dice on this one , ordinarily with a rare item I would try get the max price but I almost feel guilty asking to much for this , it's basically a £5 game with a sticker on it .

Was lucky to pick this up in a bundle , I only bought the bundle because I noticed a fantasy zone II and I was hoping to replace my own ntsc copy , I was initially disappointed as the condition of the items wasn't great and it was another ntsc fantasy zone II , but then i spied this The last two UK Sonic Upc games went for £100 and £150. You could quadruple that if you can find a US forum member to ssell it in the US on your behalf. Well I was thinking that I would put it on ebay.com as apposed to ebay.co.uk , I like the idea of an auction as I can remove any bids from people with feedback I don't like , probably wait for ebay to send me a special fee's offer and then put it up 99p start and no reserve .

Sonic Chaos is for me the friday afternoon of sonic games, people don't want to be there and half the office has gone home. In my eyes sega took some nice level design, challenging bosses and threw them away. Yeah I would agree with this , it's called sonic chaos but their is sadly precious little actual chaos . It's a bit " all fart but no stink " for me .

I have a 25' B & O tv in my games room with a built in DVD player. It works perfectly with the phaser... Not tried it with glasses yet but I presume it will work fine 👍 Mines a Beovision 1...picked it up for under £50 on ebay its RRP was 4k lol www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=45825' is a great size for a games room , with a built in dvd player it must be a late model crt , I guess the next one I see advertised I will have to ask them if they wouldn't mind me quickly testing my master system on it before I pay .

The issue is probbaly the refresh rate, if its 100hz which later upmarket CRT TVs often are then traditional light guns won't work. I had a quick look and it seems that B&O TV is 100hz too. I think you'd have more luck looking for a 4:3 CRT instead of a widescreen one, as they are much less likely to be 100hz and have a better spect ratio for retro consoles too. Cheers thanks for the info on the refresh rate , yeah I will give the B&O a miss , cool tv though , probably cost a bomb 20 years ago . I'm happy with a 4:3 but it's finding one that's the problem , they weigh the same as a baby elephant so I'm limited to local gumtree adds and even the above listing is an hour away . But something will pop up soon enough .

Wondering what the requirements are for a tv to work with the light phaser . I understand that modern flat screens are not suitable , but my problem is that I have a Philips crt and that also is not compatible with the light phaser . Its just like my flat screen in the living room , the screen just blinks when I pull the trigger . I think it was manufactured in 02 or 03 so maybe the later model crt's are also a problem with the light phaser . I'm on the look for a replacement and I have seen a bang & alufsen locally that I quite like but if it's not suitable for the light phaser or 3d glasses theirs no point changing . If anyone could look at this add and let me know if would work that would be great , thanks . www.gumtree.com/p/televisions-plasma-lcd-tvs/bang-olufsen-beovision-avant-32-television-video-player-combined.-crt./1198581183

Cool item , is their any kind of packing inside the box ? I recently got the sg commander boxed and the controller and instructions will just about fit in the box . The general feeling seems that the competition pro is the best turbo controller for the sms but I prefer these , It has a flap inside the box that folds down to hold the controller in place. The instructions are on the back of the box (see pic) I saw the one you bought in the bundle... I was bidding against you that night ;-) yeah their was alot of interest in that bundle , think my max bid was 1k or something crazy , even after selling the other stuff I paid about 180 for that controller . Was the only boxed one I seen in 3 years , then about two weeks later another one showed up on auction but it wasn't in as good condition so I'm glad I got it .

When Sega used to say " the challenge will always be their " they can't have been talking about Sonic Chaos . When I first got into collecting I was surprised to find out this game existed as I had moved on to the megadrive at the time of it's release . As with the other sonic games it looks and sounds great , but it's lack of any real challenge spoils the game for me . I think I lost a few life's on the second boss but other than that it was plain sailing , you just coast through it really . I also hate that the level abruptly ends and you reach the bonus stage upon getting 100 rings , at least make me have to finish the level . The chaos emeralds are also to easy to obtain , I preferred having them hidden in the levels like sonic 2 , as it means you have to explore and not just rush through it . On a positive note it's good to see Tails making an appearance on the sms , although I loved sonic 2 as a kid it bugged me that tails was missing . It's still sonic so it's enjoyable but it's kind of sonic light for me .

I also have to get around to doing this , Got a psp go about 2 years ago with the idea of playing SNK games , I struggled for 5 minutes to connect it to the internet and then gave up . Luckily it came with a ton of games including sega classics collection . I mostly play it at work on my break , its a great system , surprising it wasn't more successful but I guess Nintendo own's the handheld market
