It is 2018 but it was 1991 when I wondered where that ladder in the top right of the picture would take me so I used the cane and thats how I have played the level ever since .

I think 79000 score is pretty high. Just played it the other day , and it to the third and last castle ( I think 😉) and used my last 4-5 life in some water passages whith a lot of spikes and extremely tiny space to swim trough 👎 My score was 59000 Yeah I will always avoid the water section with the spikes , just before this section I use the cane to reach a platform above the part where the foor parts away and you drop into the water . The respawning enimies sadly mean that a maximum high score is not possible in this game but I will still complete it every few months and try for my best score .

I bought my first fake from cex , a buggy run cart only , was going for a reasonable £30 so I ordered online , I was alreadly worried before it arrived as two stores in close proximity to each other ( dudley and washington ) just happened to take in buggy run , masters of combat and championship hockey on the same day . I was thinking this is a huge coincidence
So it arrived and I knew straight away the label was a repro , lots of black ink smudged , I was also supprised when I opened it as I was expecting it to be a full repro with an eprom but no it was just a label swap , cex dont test games so that makes sense . I actually don't know what the game is as its not working the pins look like they have been deliberately cut with a razor blade . The chip number is MPR - 14342 T50 9144EP007 so its a game from 91 .
So someone has taken 3 repros to dudley store and then to avoid suspicion taken the short trip to washington and given them the same 3 repros , sad that someone with an interest in the hobby is happy to scam fellow collectors but thats life . So anyone reading this dont buy the other buggy run , masters of combat or chamionship hockey I'm of to cex to get my money back .

Thats a quality list of games you have , collectors could spend years building that list up and you have just casually had them all along , their must be some incredible collections just picking up dust in sheds and attics up and down the country . Those games are worth well into 4 figures , you can easily find values on ebay , if you want to sell quick knock a bit off , if you don't mind waiting ask full price . Just take plently of pictures even open the carts up for the more valuable games , send the games fully insured and tracked .# Your going to get a lot of interest in these if they are still in nice condition .

Great to see a rare game like this in such nice shape , I have maybe a dozen games that I picked up mint with those epilepsy warnings so their not that uncommon , Only downside is that stain on the cover but someone who already has the game could swap the cover and have a totally mint Power Strike II

shame about the damage to the back cover as it will detract from the interest and value . It's best to open it and demonstrate the cartridge and manual in mint condition as this should help it sell for more .

Think it's for selecting different RF channels but you have a component cable their so that wont matter what you set that to .

I don't think theirs any issue using this PSU without a stepdown converter , it will accept any voltage and between 100 and 240v and then send 9v to the machine . The only time a stepdown converter is needed is when you are using a jap or american PSU in the uk as those can not handle the uk 240v main supply . When I first got my wondermega I was very weary about using a standard pal megadrive 2 PSU without a stepdown but it's fine .

If it was me I would just keep a look out for game bundles on ebay , keep what you need for the collection , their always tends to be a world soccer or the ninja with a mint box that you can swap out .

I also reported the above seller , disappointing that ebay took no action and let the auctions run their course despite a number of people taking the time to report the seller , not entirely surprising ether , I reported a seller listing a blatant repro power strike II and nothing happened , someone ended up paying 210 quid for it . I guess so long as ebay get their fees all is well .
The only positive is the seller getting relatively poor prices so maybe they will be discouraged from taking the time to make another batch .

It's not a surprise to see so much interest in this game , it's so well done and fills a massive void which Sega created by messing around with the franchise , so pleased to have a copy . Can anyone shed any light on an Alex Kidd in Miracle World 3 ? I watched a play through on youtube and it also looks fantastic , I hope the creator takes note of the huge interest in Ian's game and makes physical copies .

Yeah you can use the 3 genesis adapters without any problems . I wouldn't chance the after market adapter with only 8.5v , would also avoid the turbo grafx as the amps are to low .
