Thanks to a great friend from great britain i finally got Bioshock 1 in all it's uncut glory. The game is simply amazing Also got Sleeping Dogs uncut and the environment kills are so much fun to do. It also has a pretty good Classic Rock Soundtrack featuring Queen, Deep Purple, Tears for Fears and The Allman Brothers and the story is cliche to the max but hey, you can do Karaoke and there's nothing better than singing Girls just wanna have fun

Picross Vol.1 [Super Famicom] Forza Horizon [360] (Really disappointed that it's a NFS/Dirt/Test Drive-esque game and not a classic Forza game) Super Mario Galaxy 2 [Wii]
Finished New Super Mario Bros U and Arkham Asylum recently, both great games especially the latter.

Super Tux Kart
Mario Kart clone based on the Linux penguin. Great fun and more challenging than Mario Kart IMO.

The 2600 version of Space Invaders is the best. I know the VIC-20 version of Jetpac very well, never played it on the Speccy.
ShinobiMan's video on Crazy Taxi got me in the mood for the Sega Dreamcast. It's been set up since last night and the menu music from MSR is playing in the background as I type this.
Apart from that, I've been enjoying the Steam summer sale and picked up the following games:
Fez - indie platform/puzzle game Democracy 3 - indie sim where you get to be President/Prime Minister of a country Game Dev Tycoon - indie sim where you get to be a video game developer Euro Truck Simulator 2 - very realistic driving simulator and one of the few mainstream titles to get ported to Linux Football Manager 2014 - love my football management sims Half-Life - Valve first person shooter (linear sci-fi story) Team Fortress 2 - Valve first person shooter (arcade action with Metal Slug style graphics)

I got Watch Dogs for the PS4 from my Dad for my Birthday last week. I've read lots of mixed reviews but after a few hours i'm really getting into it. It's a bit too soon to write much more about it as i'm still just getting to grips with how all the side missions play out and only completed a couple of main missions. So far it is a cross between Assassins Creed and GTA but with the hacking stuff added on.

Been accumulating game boy pirate multicarts, the 99999999 in 1 type, they are fun if cheap.

I scored a Nintendo game cube and a dozen games for free today. Was just missing the AV cable which I've ordered on ebay for a couple of dollars. I know it's Nintendo but the price was right

I have all the US released colors all with GB players on them plus a 4th for my kids. Its a fantastic system!

Gamecube is highly underrated, I would probably rank it second only to the SNES as my favourite Nintendo console and as a bit of personal trivia it's the only Nintendo console I have constantly hooked up to the TV (six consoles in total that are constantly hooked up).
Played a bit of Torneko - The Last Hope for the PS1, a Dragon Quest spin-off title. Was really enjoying it until I came to a dungeon where I died repeatedly (every time you die you restart on the 1st floor and back on level 1 in character upgrades) for about two hours before turning off the game for good. Would have come back with a vengeance with the Gameshark CD but my PS2 doesn't like the Gameshark CDs.
Moved on to another obscure title that I had on my shelf in Chase The Express again for the PS1, it's an action game with survival horror gameplay basics. As I love that sort of gameplay I could overlook things like no lock-on system, no analogue functionality (in a game from 2000!) and the comically bad voice acting.
On the current gen (oh wait, it's last gen now!) front, I've played quite alot of Dead Island (360) co-op with my brother. It's quite repetitive and kind of mediocre but it's more fun in co-op. You know you might have played a game to much when in your dreams you are kicking people in the head (which is a common thing in Dead Island to kick a Zombie in the head when it's down as it saves the damage done on your weapons).

I really like Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide. I've played through them both a few times. The new one called Dying Light looks pretty great too!
