Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, got the second game Transformed as a Christmas present from my brother. Tried it a little bit and loved it so much that I went out and bought the first game to play first. Not as good as transformed but still feels unique enough to be different and most importantly it's fun! And of course, one of the reasons I love it is all the SEGA references to previous games. At the moment I'm collecting miles/money to unlock Opa-Opa and Alex Kidd Happy New Year everyone! I have the first game on Wii, and it´s fantastic. It´s better than Mario Kart. But some Mario Kart fanatics hate the Sega Allstars Racing games, say they "bore them to death" and say that they need it to be attacked by an opponent in Mario Kart (in the last round, before the finish line) to get very angry... They are sick. Mario Kart Wii is often an unfair game and Sega Allstars is a fair fun racer which proves your skills. It´s funny, I bought Opa-Opa and Alex Kidd at first from my Sega miles too

Currently I am playing a few things on a few systems.. Iphone - candy crush, its just one of those games that's easy to pick up for a few minutes and come back to whenever. I'm on level 215, well the quests just after that. I've never spent any money on extras or anything. Also been playing Jet Car stunts 2 and Back Flip madness, both pretty good and addictive. Ipad - recently completed The Room II, it was just okay, think I preferred the first one. Also playing the Castle Of Illusion remake that is pretty epic but let down slightly by touch screen controls, often the case. Also recently downloaded Tomb Raider which seems to be a direct port from the Playstation version, brings back fond memories but they really could have done the controls better, even with a lot of customisation it's still frustrating. PS4 - Need for Speed Rivals. So far i've found this game quite frustrating. I may not be the best gamer in the world but this makes me feel useless, I just crash all the time! I think I need to put a lot more time in to it to get better but i'm tempted to trade it in for something else. Altogether I have perhaps spent about 4 hours on it but the handling still feels alien to me comparedw ith other car games, maybe I need to upgrade to a better car or practice drifting. Contrast, PSN game, pretty good for free but feels a bit empty and some of the controls are a bit off. PS3 - GTA V. Completed story mode but still want to put some more time into exploring, having fun and getting a few more trophies. SMS Castle of Illusion Xmas Edition - yes that is correct! More info on that o follow when I have a bit of time free over the coming weeks

Rupert - after playing Gran Turismo 5 I struggled with NFS hot pursuit, took me awhile to get decent. Some really hard challenges in that. Hopefully you pick it up soon.
I'm playing COD ghosts on PS3. Starting to get decent at it now.

GTA 5 which is fun but man does Rockstar play it safe. Outside of the switching between three characters there's nothing really new, it's just GTA with the same mission concepts and the Soundtrack sucks. I probably say that because over the last few days i also got Saints Row 2 (thankfully found an uncut patch, man they butchered that game here in germany, they took out 1/4 of the content at least), 3 & 4 and the Third one is so hilarious and insane, to me it's a whole lot better.

There are dozens of traded in copies of GTA V in my local CEX/Cash Converter stores so Rockstar's caution may backfire on them in the long run. I'm in Atari ST mode. Playing lots of games on my UltraSatan hard drive. Skulldiggery (Boulderdash clone), Super STario Land (SMB clone), Blood Money (ultra hard shoot-em-up) and Llamatron (Jeff Minter classic) are the ones that are getting the most air time.

GTA V (Xbox 360)I haven't really played the last few games in the series but I bought into the hype of GTA V. It really is an excellent game, the graphics never cease to blow me away. I'm only about 25% through story mode, I keep getting sidetracked and have too much fun messing about. International Track & Field (N64)A game my brother got me for Xmas. I enjoy these button-bashing type sports games. I've spent some time playing this to make sure I had the world record in every event I'm not playing anything on the SMS at the moment, which is a shame. I think I might have to go after a few high scores.

No. I mean GTA 4 broke records at the time and then was heavily critized by everybody. GTA 5 rolls around and despite so many people claiming "i won't buy it" they made 1 Billion Dollars in the first week (GTA 4 made half of it) setting a new record and by now they may take the "best selling video game of all times spot" since they sold about 31 million copies and the record is some Mario game for the Wii (which was also sold as pack in with the system) with 34 million By now i warmed to the game, Trevor is a great character that breaks the mold of your typical GTA Anti Hero character or your "Rockstar Nigger" (Franklin is like CJ, a Ghetto child full of cliches, same behaviour and about as interesting as a wet towell) It does feature of side show attractions - which were all featured before (cinema, like in RDR and such) I get a bigger kick out of Saints Row, it's much more fun and nothing can beat flying through a space station with a small ship while Blur - Song 2 is running and you barrel role your way too freedom (reminding me of Terminal Velocity and old PC game) or punching a guy in the face while "What is love, baby don't hurt me" (i play of course a female character, so it's even more fun) runs, stealing his car

Have been playing Soleil for the SMD this weekend, just finished it. Remember liking it before when I tried it for the first time years ago, but this time around I really loved it. An easy Zelda clone for the Mega Drive, what's not to like?

True, but the "Zelda-clone" umbrella word is kind of thrown around for anything 2D action-adventure-esque

Speaking of Zelda I've been playing A Link Between Worlds on the 3DS. Easily the best handheld Zelda game in a long time.
