5) Aypok
6) Ninjabearhug
7) Cauterize
8) Maxim
9) Bock
The Lass O'Gowrie pub, located near to the city centre, hosted our Sega8bit '08 event and has also hosted other Retro Gaming events. Here are a few photos I took of the location back in 2008..
The door on the right goes through to the 'snug' which is wear the event was held last time, it may be in a room upstairs this year (further pictures may follow).
The Snug..
The Snug or upstairs can easly hold around 12+ people, I don't expect more than that to attend but if there is then we can always spill out abit and socialise in the main pub.
UPDATE
I think we can have the room upstairs (Salmon Room); further info pasted from their site below:
New for 2008, the Salmon Rooms constitute a versatile combination of main room with plenty of natural light, reception area and landing. As such, they’re perfect for a whole host of uses – in particular; business meetings, private dining, seminars, private match viewings, screenings of film and TV, parties, weddings, celebrations and society meetings and classes of any description.
Facilities available for use within the Salmon Rooms include;
• LCD Projector and Projector Screen
• Free Wireless Broadband Internet Connection
• Dedicated Laser Printer (additional fees apply)
• DVD/Video Player
• 5.1 Sound System, with IPOD dock
• Private Bar and Reception area (additional fees may apply)
• Dedicated Toilet Facilities
• Your own Retro-Arcade Gaming Cabinets, perfect for chilling out on a break
• Stage Lighting and Demountable Staging
• Large White Board and Flip chart

More info regarding the pub www.thelass.co.uk/
Information for people coming via Train;
There are 3 main train stations in Manchester - Victoria, Piccadilly and Oxford Road. Please find below maps of how to reach the pub from each station.
Oxford Road - the closest train station:
This is just a 5 minute walk..
Picadilly (the largest station):
This is around 15 - 20 minutes walk...
Victoria - The furthest station:
This is the only one people might have a problem with, you may even consider getting a taxi, it's going to be about 30+ minute walk. Ive made a large map and smaller ones, plus ive drawn on key locations to try and help.
Smaller maps with locations..
Just let me know if you have any further queries with regards getting there.
