Update! I just checked the auction you linked, and I was the under bidder on it. So much for the email he sent me through ebay!: "Hello, the buyer of HangOn has still not payed or send me a mail. So mayb you still interested at this game ? Please send me a mail. Regards Claudio" So it looks like he used the same auction to sell to both of us, and who knows perhaps the bidder below me too

Unless the scanner has altered the colouring, that looks like a normal red label that has faded (left out in sunlight) as it still looks slightly red to me.

Guess who bought a Hang On card this week from the same seller - yep me! The photo in the auction I bought is exactly the same as the one in yours. Also I was the under bidder, and got a second chance offer, if he is making lots of these, perhaps he sells them to every bidder who put down a large amount. Loose Hang-on cards are not hard to come by. I hope its not fake, but it doesn't look good, mine hasn't arrived yet. And because I had to pay by bank transfer, I guess getting money back won't be easy. I bought a SMSII version of Sonic 2 off ebay before, and the cover was a print out, and ebay didn't refund me a penny and the seller played dumb. Genuine inserts are not actually white, but a slightly cream colour, you don't really notice this unless you put a white piece of paper next to sms insert as comparison. The chances of the same seller having two copies of such a rare game in such a short space of time is not likely When it arrives I will get back to you with my opinion on its originality.

Other than a couple of them that wern't released elsewhere, there doesn't seem to be much demand for Tec Toy Megadrive games. So what was the one you were after? Duke Nuke em? Nightmare Creatures?

Is there a dream arcade cabinet or game that you guys would love to have?
Personally I would really like to have an original Pacman or Space Invaders cab, I could happily play those on a regular basis, plus they are so iconic and significant to the boom of gaming.

I don't think its a system selling game Agreed, however Lost Stars wasn't so much as a sequel, but a game developed around the same time (well the arcade one was anyway). The megadrive Enchanted Castle game is pretty much a direct sequel to Miracle World, and that sucks. Sega did get it right with Shinobi World, but by that time Sonic had come along and stolen the limelight. The cards are only 32k in size, which is very limiting. Its the reason why games like Bank Panic, My Hero, Transbot just have a couple of levels that repeat, theres no room for anything else. Problem there is a lot of Segas arcade games used very powerful for the time hardware, like Outrun, Afterburner, Space Harrier, Galaxy Force, and not even the Megadrive let alone the sms could do accurate versions. But Wonderboy III carries on directly from the end of Wonderboy II. Its the first Wonderboy game that has the least in common with the rest of the series, as its a straight out platformer. Those sorts of games were more popular on computers, I'm guessing text adventures were not big hits on the nes. Its Nintendos strengths in America that killed off sms there, in other parts of the world Ninentdo charged too much or the nes was competing in a much different market.

I'm happy to drive long distance, so location isn't really an issue for me.

I'm getting slighlty better at the game and managed to 124,020 on the second round. This game is so frustrating, yet I am mysteriously compelled by its overly jolly violence.

Time for a new highscore challenge game I think, and its one thats so hard that you earn points for every step forward your character makes!
