To be honest, I am familiar with actual women´s wrestling only. I would go so far and say that Jaguar was easily on the level of Dynamite Kid, Ricky Steamboat and Bob Backlund in the 80's, really one of the best of all time (reatired to early, had about as many comebacks as Terry Funk and just a s Funk tarnished her legacy because of that) But she even showed that Wendi Richter has more skill than what she showed in the WWF against Leilani Kai or Moolah As for Cutie Suzuki: More T&A than anything, she had a mega drive game and was popular but really not good compared to most others. Also on a very sad note, Ivan Koloff has cancer and is in a bad condition The rusian bear, one of the real heel legends

I just released a brand new interview on my website. Im collaboration with New Japan, I got the opportunity to talk with Kenny Omega who is a huge fan of video games. He headlined this year´s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 11 where he faced Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Championship. Enjoy Interview with Kenny OmegaI would go so far and say that Jaguar was easily on the level of Dynamite Kid, Ricky Steamboat and Bob Backlund in the 80's, really one of the best of all time (reatired to early, had about as many comebacks as Terry Funk and just a s Funk tarnished her legacy because of that) But she even showed that Wendi Richter has more skill than what she showed in the WWF against Leilani Kai or Moolah Great match, very enjoyable Wendi Richter made me laugh, she was a good heel Without pioneers like these, women´s wrestling wouldn´t be on the level where it is today, especially in Japan. It also shows what WWE was doing with their women. Around the attitude era and after, the women there were mostly objects to google at (thank you Vince..). Glad there were some exceptions who kept the spirit at this time. As for Cutie Suzuki: More T&A than anything, she had a mega drive game and was popular but really not good compared to most others. I know. I remember a comment of you, saying you played the game. That´s the reason for my joking comment^^ Also on a very sad note, Ivan Koloff has cancer and is in a bad condition The rusian bear, one of the real heel legends Oh, sad news =( I just read something about his condition, let´s pray for him. He was a very socially-engaged man until now.

30 years since Hulk Hogan VS Andre the Giant: Wrestlemania III was a landmark, probably the biggest wrestling event ever (i know most of the numbers got topped but with billions more people on this planet than in 1987, that's a given) delivering a good mix of everything from comedy (Bundy vs. the midgets) to the big hype (Hogan - Andre) to something for the more pure wrestling fans (Steamboat - Savage)

Also, is any other wrestling fan excited about Fire Pro Wrestling returning? When i first saw it my jaw dropped, i thought after that horrendous abomination that was that xbox360 fpw and the way too early death of original series creator Masato Masuda it would be dead but it's back! Already it will feature everything FPW Returns has on a new engine with more moves, more caw items, "nearly unlimited caw slots" and as Early Access because they are listening to community wishes. It will ship with 30 fantasy wrestlers, leaving the rest to the community and at least on Steam it has full Workshop support for all creations (Wrestlers, Rings, Championships, Logos....) I'm so excited for this

Lucha Underground was added to Netflix in Canada, and I'm blown away!

Reviving this thread with both a SEGA and wrestling connection. Reminds me of the Ultraviolent "Fans bring the weapons" matches from CZW and IWA:MS were you frequently saw a NES or Atari (people didn't know how much they would be worth ) and the wrestlers using them to get brain damage. Obviously there in Impact the shots are ultra safe and the Dreamcast still worked (unlike in those previous mentioned promotions, were the consoles ended up wrecked) but it also reminds how much wrestling sucks nowadays.
