Hi, I'm new to the site and forums but not to the Master system. Like many on this site, I've been playing these games since day one and have throughly enjoyed it over the years. Recently I have been more of a focussed collector, I've nearly completed my UK NES collection (3 to go) and I've got ~150 SMS games (this will be my next port of call, maybe one or two games a week). I'd probably say I'm more of a Nintendo collector, I have the majority of the systems (US, JPN and UK) with the add ons like a complete 64DD collection, Satellaview etc. I recently got hold of a complete Sega Pico, I think I may try and get this system CIB also. My favourite collecting console however is the Virtual boy, I've got 32 of the 33 released games CIB (still need Virtual Bowling!). But I do have a soft spot for Sega, hence my registration here, lol. Anyway, heres some collection pics over at photobucket: s183.photobucket.com/albums/x173/VBForever/I've not got many Sega photos there at the moment, but I will sort this out sooner or later. Thanks

Welcome, out of interest whats so great about the Virtual Boy, 3D = good but the rumours I've heard of headaches really put me off. Oh and if you like the VB get some Sega 3D glasses, I think they may have been the first 3D console add on ever (but I'm no doubt wrong about that!).

Welcome to the forum! Looking at your pictures your overall console collection is probably about the same size as mine, except the proportion of mine is more Sega, less Nintendo. So are you UK or US based? Or somewhere more exotic?

Welcome aboard. I'm sure you'll find loads of people on the forum that will help you bolster your collection. If you really want rid of all that nontendeo stuff I'd be willing to take it all off of your hands for a small fee, only to be put towards costs of disposing of it safely.

Welcome . Is the power glove any good? I've wanted one since i saw 'The Wizard' when i was a kid, but i never bothered buying one because they're probably crap ;D. VB's are ace, i love Red Alarm but i always get a headache because i turn the 'break time' warning off. I haven't used mine a lot recently, i can't find the stand for it anywhere ;D.

Welcome!
Nice stuff there in your NES folder! I see you grabbed the repro NWC cart and one of the newer homebrew games : ) Nice R.O.B.s too!
It's all about 8-bit baby!

@ kropper13 - I not too sure, I just think the VB is so unlike anything else in gaming and when looking at a row of systems altogether, its the VB that sticks out a mile with its exotic looks.
@ kungfukid - Cheshire, UK. Looks like theres a fair few UK posters on this forum.
@ Sinistral - I'll bare this in mind, lol.
@ ninjabearhug - TBH, the power glove is a waste of time. It won't work with the UK NES, so you must have a NTSC for it to even work, not that you'd be able to notice due to its shocking controls. Its one of those things that you get for the sake of collecting because apart from that, it serves no purpose whatsoever, lol.
@ rupert - cheers for the comments.
@ Roth - Yeah I got the NWC and Sudoku last summer, I played the NWC religiously for about a month but I've hardly played it since. I seem to recognise your username and avatar from somewhere like nintendoage? I've been concentrating on NES for the last 6 months, just 3 licensed games (+ 4 unlicensed) to go now then it'll be SMS and N64 full steam ahead.

I'm only about 7 - 10 miles from Daresbury on the other side of Warrington to you, just outside of Chester. So are you from around the Newton-le-Willows area?
Like they say, its a small world.

I'm also getting N64 games atm, though to be fair I'm still getting ones I want to play not collecting just yet, but I'm sure that will start soon. as I said in my first post if the VB is your thing you need some SMS 3D glasses!

As I get into the SMS more I'll definitely get myself a set of the 3D glasses, quite a cool looking accessory and something the NES can't boast, lol. Something else it can't boast is RGB signal (well not unless you get a special french system which has an RGB port) and I have infact modded one of my SMS with a scart cable hardwired into the board which gives a great picture, perfect for getting the colour out of the games.
