Yeah, postage sucks! And we're pretty much all vets now at this point, so it's not like grabbing a few extra copies of TransBot or After Burner is going to cut it anymore! Still, makes it a little more fun trying to hunt down your Santa's gifts. Dropped mine in the box today after what I bought arrived. Hope all you guys get what you're looking for and have a great Xmas! I was updating the first post with the current status of gifts and noticed your post. Are you particpating in the Secret Santa this year grolt? Sorry ian, I missed this earlier. Yep I am in it again. A late addition but the Prophet did a little manipulating to make it all work.

scratch another game off the list, i just ordered galaxy force usa. Good work! The confusion over OutRun 3-D and Ultima is that while they were never released in the US, those two and a few more (can't really remember right now) were released in small quantities in Canada. Most of the games you're still missing you'll have to pay for, but the ones that were also released in Europe are very cheap (Super Monaco GP, Slap Shot, Strider, Spider-man, Sonic) so I'd recommend just going the European route with them. Same too with Moonwalker, which has really come down in price since spiking after MJ's death (for comparison, I sold Moonwalker in 2009 for $127, a couple weeks ago I sold one for $17) . The UPC stickers are fun, but really, you'll never see them once they're on a shelf, and after the novelty wears off, well, whatever. The other games you're looking for will cost a bit of money, but the good news is that they're almost all great games. Golden Axe Warrior, Alex Kidd in Shinobi World and Fantasy Zone II are all amazing. ALF, well, let's just say you'll never forget it once you play it! ;D

Keep it and finish the set! You've got the hardest part already done. What else do you need?

Haha, missed this the first time around. That OutRun car is awesome. Great job by Rupert, too. Would love to see some more real ones.

A few years ago it would sell regularly for $100 complete and mint, so I'd say $300 is at least a good $100 steep. Don't know why you wouldn't just list it at $0.99 and let the free market decide...

I guess in the ghetto all you can afford is an SMS. The more affluent in LA had a NES, haha.

The Ninja really surprised me. Simple graphics, nondescript cover and kind of awkward diagonals make the game initially seem like some simple game like many of the Sega Card games. Once you settle into it though, the control is tight and it really does make you feel like a ninja, stealthily firing shirukens and creeping through levels. The score attack is really addicting and I just think it's a really fun game to pop in and play.
On a similar note, Kenseiden really is a fantastic game that initially seems pretty derivative. Right from the start the soundtrack (at least the non-FM version) is really grating and the first level seems pretty basic. Then the non-linearity of the game kicks in, and then all the upgrades and bonus levels, it really ends up becoming a deep and challenging game with a fresh cultural take. Love it.

The GG Shinobis (along with Ax Battler and Haley Wars) are the main reason I still turn my Game Gear on. Honestly, at this point in its life, it's such a finicky console, I never trust a game when it is on it for fear the power will just randomly go out if I move the AC cable even the slightest bit. To have the GG Shinobis ported to the SMS would be real awesome. Not sure why you'd use the cover for the second game, I think the first one is fine and, well, why confuse things? Great to see it up and running on the SMS though and your work is admirable.
It has been about 5 months now...any updates?

Yeah, it's a tiny market to define and doesn't have near the interest US UPCs have. Has anyone seen a US release with the Canadian UPC on it? My Golvellius does, but that's because RPGs were never released to multi-lanugage markets, so even the UK they were still just English only.
