Also if its the same design as a Japanese cart, that also means damaging the cart label to get at the screws to open it. Those Korean rompacks don't use screws, they just snap open.

Haven't bought it yet, but what do you guys think? It's close to the end of the 360 era, but damn this baby is hot hot hot... I've got the Halo Wars/Halo 3 pack of 60GB at the moment so it would be a pretty awesome upgrade. However, 400€ is a lot of money. It's even more than the Halo Reach LE... I just grabbed one for a little less than $400 and I have to say that it is a huge upgrade from the fat 360... small, quiet & a big hard drive. I've been dealing with open tray errors on my old 360 so it was time for an upgrade anyway. It's a bit annoying that it only comes with one c3po controller.

Great job guys! I have to admit that I spent fifteen minutes going through my collection before I figured out Maze Hunter 3D. I figured that one and the tiny Shooting Gallery would give people the most trouble. Twelve year old me would never believe that someday people from the England, Ireland, Australia and Greece would get a little enjoyment from my doodle. I'm glad that you guys had fun with it! There are 36 games in all. Here's the answer key: On to the final results: 1. meu2 9:46am 2. ninjabearhug 10:43am 3. gallos_11 9:58am (got all of them but had one extra - Blade Eagle 3D) So meu2 gets first crack at picking a prize. Huggybear gets sloppy seconds and gallos can have whatever is left. Don't feel bad if you want to decline your winnings... I know that it's nothing too special. Thanks for playing

Still missing one of the small ones Stu. It's difficult to make out but it's been mentioned. Congrats on Maze Hunter 3D... that one took me awhile.

Frank nailed down almost 50% of the games.
You were right to change Thunder Blade & Montezuma Alan... still not there yet.

I've recently been digging through some master system stuff from my childhood and I found this drawing that I made when i was twelve years old : The first person to guess all of the games represented gets one of the items pictured below for the cost of shipping (nothing too spectacular):

Here's some recently found weirdness that I got from 1-800-USA-SEGA almost 25 years ago: Sega of America folder: Out Run keychain & a sweet master system button: Last but certainly not least, my master system Out Runner™ Driver's License (that's me at 12 years old) "NOTE: This license valid only when playing Out Run driving game on Sega Master System" : I almost crapped myself when I saw the Out Run license. I had no memory of it until now... it makes me laugh every time I look at it. You had to provide a picture, fill the "license" out and send it to Sega of America in San Jose where they actually took the time to laminate it and mail it back to you. It might have just been that the nes had a stranglehold on the video game market in the US, but Sega of America would send you free/awesome stuff every time you called them (toll free). At the same time Mario was charging something like $.99/minute (maybe more) for every phone call. Sega of America took very good care of their customers in the 80's... it's no wonder I became a Sega fanboy.

Cheers guys! I forgot a few. Thanks to mlac & chunk for these beauties: Thanks Prophet and great pick ups yourself as well! I'm not into proto's (yet, until I get a demo unit ), but I get the excitement and the scarcity of them. Did you purchase those two samples by chance or did the seller put them up as samples? They were both properly listed on ebay. The Grobal Defense seller was after $150 but he dropped the price so I snagged it a few minutes after the re-list. That's a weird cart label on Grobal Defense for the lettering to be worn off like that. The text isn't normally a separate layer of the sticker with the red and black beneath it, but just a single print. I have at least one other sample cart with the same raised lettering. It's very odd. Very nice score on all those Korean games, did you swipe them off Japanese Yahoo auctions? Most of them were from the ebay monster. Cabbage Patch Kids was definitely from yaj (lovelymixdog if I remember correctly). Great haul Mark!! Congrats! I had my eye on a few of those when they came up too - that Korean Bubble Bobble looks great! Is it the same as the regular version or one of the others they released over there? Cheers Josh! It seems to be a hack of Super Bubble Bobble for the msx 2. I never played Bubble Bobble until we hung out and I didn't even know there was a msx 2 before I grabbed this game so I'm certainly no authority. It's this game: www.gamesdbase.com/game/msx-2/super-bubble-bobble.aspxAnother one just sold for $102 which makes me feel better about paying $50 for my copy. www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&item=170801881065&nma=true&rt=nc&si=XQFbkTboMzmWQ2CaQ16H2YunU5M%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I'm not sure if you're interested or not, but I'm pretty sure you can still get the readers and blank cards for Mushiking - as well as the control panel. I remember someone rebuilding one of those cabs a year or two back. I'd be up for it if I could find a cheap card reader. Nice Naomi gear. I was going to venture into that at one point but haven't had the time to read up about and to work out how it all goes together. It's not very complicated. The only expensive part is the Capcom I/O. Here's a link with all the info you need: www.sega-naomi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1265

If you can't get the everdrive/gender adapter combo to work there's usually a legitimate copy available on yaj. Found this with a quick search: page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d123828549$70 is a bit steep so you might want to wait for a cheaper listing.

Congratulations on Smurfs 2 Joker! Here's what I've managed to pick up over the last six months or so. Kiosk carts and a Cabbage Patch Kids pirate: Korean games: Another random Korean game, Tec Toy stuff & Ultimate Soccer (finally!): A few protos... Zaxxon 3-D & "Grobal Defense" : I'm quite pleased with Zaxxon, Grobal Defense and Ultimate Soccer. I've been trying to find Ultimate at a decent price for at least five years now... only 19 more games to go for a full PAL set.
