Odd numbers are fine now. Years ago it was a santa buddy set up where you sent games to your buddy and vice versa... that's when we needed even numbers.
For the last few santas we have used a different system that doesn't require even numbers. For example, if we had 3 people participating it would look something like this: santa 1 -> santa 2 -> santa 3 -> santa 1.

I don't particularly care for marching bands but this is really well done. There's no Sega love but it's still a pretty good video game tribute. My favorite part is Epona from Ocarina of Time: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAzzbrFgcUw

Great pick Dave. Just spent some time with it for the first time in quite a few years. I knew the game as Rambo when I was a kid. It was definitely Sega's answer to Nintendo's Ikari Warriors (with much better graphics). It's a great 2 player game. During the first few rounds of 2 player you essentially get unlimited continues... then it gets serious. The rocket launcher becomes essential and you only have a few lives. I have tried to beat this game many times over the past 20+ years but can never seem to make it happen... always run out of lives in the city stage .

Anybody up for sega8bit santa again this year?
If so, I'd like to suggest that we open the wants lists to all consoles so that people who have filled up their master system library can join in the fun too.

Just create a new thread in the development forum for each game. For fakey reproductions, everyone apparently wants to kill people who make those anyway. I missed the poll, but Aypok and Maxim sum my opinion up quite well.

Nice. I recognize that design. ... just an idea that floated away. Sega of Japan must have licensed it out. A modified version was released for the master system in Japan as the XE-1 ST2. Here's the one that I have: Centrale's rotational hypothesis is correct, you can adjust the buttons for your comfort: The oval isn't a sticker. It is clearly branded as a Mark III/Master System controller. As far as I can tell there is no reference to the Mega Drive on the box so I can't explain the third button. The plot thickens...
