Congrats man! I'm sort of glad I decided against collecting consoles because that'd be on my wants list for sure! I'd forgotten about this thread but as I've picked up some Korean games over the past months too I'll share them here. 8 so far!

I'm not into Korean games just yet, but that Aladdin boy looks awesome. I'd like to hear the story of your search if you don't mind. How long did you look for it, did you find others in lesser condition and decided to pass on until you found one in this condition? Did you purchase unboxed versions before? Where did you look for it and how did you get it? Sorry, I'm very curious, that's all

Maybe a stupid & obvious question. But i'm guessing the Start & C button on the MD controller for the Samsung SMS does nothing just like a regular MD controller on the SMS? From the instructions, it's almost like they have a function. But of course I can't read Korean

So far i had 2 Gam*boy I, 2 Gam*boy II and one Aladdin Boy, if i remember right. All off them, and most games i bought, were unboxed. For some reason, korean people must be very messy, because they always throw console's boxes away. That's why nearly all complete korean retro consoles, that i've seen, including this Aladdin Boy, are new and come from old stock in some warehouses. Luckily i have a friend in Seoul, who always keeps an eye open for vintage consoles, and who will hopefully find more boxed consoles in future. Ddevilsfinger, your games look very nice. Somehow i really like that Columns. Are they complete? The manual says that the "C" and the "start" button do have a function, but i cant believe that. But i will try it later

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I live in South Korea and was super lucky to find 2 games last weekend while hunting for old VHS. lol! Can anyone tell me what they are worth? Btw, I know the first one is Mario but the second one says GOONIES on the cover (doesn't look like Goonies to me, lol) *sorry for the crappy pics, this was taken with Ipad2

Hard to say what they are worth as they do not appear that offten for sale. I'm sure years ago that Mario clone sold for quite a bit but hard to say now. I also have Goonies but with actual Goonies on the cover, yours looks more generic like some of the multi carts I have seen. Nice finds

Thanks Rupert,
I think while searching info on those games I came across your amazing collection... simply jaw dropping. Could you tell me then how much they went for a few years ago (like that Mario)?
I got a few people really interested in them.
Btw, I've been living in Korea for now over 6 years and it's the first time I come across old Korean video games. Was really shocked. lol!

To be honest I cannot exactly remember and it wouldn't really reflect current value as it was years ago. I would say take what you are happy with, neither are worth a fortune so you won't be ripped off by selling on the forum

Hhaahah, glad to see you here Monkey. I suggested he get on one of our forums to try to sell these and find out about them. I know a little about Korean releases, but not enough.
