I had it that those pics were from their personal collection. Still though, I have some Korean friends here in PR that have relatives there so I might tell 'em about this.

boxed korean game gear and tv tuner. I bet the Gam*boy has the same style of box like the GG since i had 3 games that look quite similar on the back.

That medal is awesome. Seeing these pictures makes me sad. I really don't think I want to get involved in collecting Gam*Boy stuff the more I see of it.

At any rate, I'm interested in knowing what the eight semi-colons in succession mean.

oh, and here are some nice korean tv ads. No wonder that the samsung game gear was sold that bad, when it has such a lame advertising! The gam*boy ad is actually quite good i think! gam*boy ad Igam*boy ad II

Haha, wow, that Game Gear one is really bad. I don't really think the Gam*boy ones are much better, but at least they kind of show the games and the library.

Here we go:
"In 1990 or 1991 when I was an elementary school student in grade 5 or 6. There was a competition in Banpo* with around 600 people entered. The aim of the competition was to get the highest score in 5 minutes playing Fantasy Zone. In a previous competition, I won a Sega Mark III and Had Fantasy Zone, so I was able to practise and prepare alot for this competition. I won the competition with ease, much to the suprise of the judges as I was so young! My prize for winning was a new PC (SPC 3000). None of my family belived that I had won the competition until The PC was delivered to my home. But when it was delivered, my family were so happy that they treated me to ÅÁ¼öÀ°**. I would have liked to taken a picture of my prize PC but my mother threw it away when we moved house. --;;;;;;;; *** I think this is a rare item, If noone else agrees with me, I will just post it on the board."
* Banpo = An area or "Dong" Of Seoul, South Korea. ** ÅÁ¼öÀ° = tang su yuk, a kind of sweet Chinese meat, a delicasy in Korea. *** --;;;;;;;; = A Korean emoticon for "sweating" - like in those Anime shows when a charecter gets upset, disapointed or let down, they get a big sort of drop on the side of their face to indicate sweat as a result of the situation they are faced with.
