I think the list is fine as it is, in that it serves as a 'loose' guide, but I would like to see more attention given to Australian releases. Pretty sure someone has already done the hard work, there's a list here and on Bock's forums with an extensive Aussie release list, it just needs to be incorporated into the main list here.
If it were a price guide it would obviously have to be updated more frequently, but for now it's still acceptable as a rarity list.

The problem of looking on ebay and seeing a game that you know is listed as rare is that these games keep getting relisted on free listing days and so keep showing up as very few are willing/want to pay the price they want.
If it dose get updated I would help.
But otherwise leave it alone and create a priceing list.

I both agree that it should be updated but what the post above me says. Back 10 years ago or so, rarity was legit. Now, almost every single item imaginable is found by simply hitting up Ebay/Amazon and searching for the title. Now a good item with a great price? Thats a rarity.

About 10 to 15 years ago GameGear games around my way were very few and apart but when I got into eBay I found 100's for sale,
Prices on eBay can be defined by wether the seller ships worldwide or not so common EU games fetch more when the seller ships worldwide than just getting peanuts for shipping in his own country.

I can imagine a rarity list is not easy. For example , golden axe warrior ... If i look at ebay i become green when i see these prices. And you do not find much of them there. I stil do not have it , but i wait. Sooner or later i have a cib bought in a lot here in BE. In the benelux they don't seem to be that super rare. 4 years ago i had even 2 doubles. That is not like it is ages ago. Other titles like , sor2 , quartet , Sonic chaos(yes) , etc. are rare not to say unfindable in bnl. The reason is , we have our own 2th hand sites and stores. People of BNL are not realy familiar with ebay yet. Now , ebay ... if i do not find a game , that is my last solution.
