I have been looking through my pile of trade games, and noticed that i have lots of variations of boxes, like Virgin and Image Works versions of Xenon, US and Euro Ariel Assault. I have even started noticing small differences, like some copies have "Now, there are no limits" on the back, and some dont. Im trying to decide whether to keep my variations or just sell them. So anyway who collects cover variations?, and do you draw the line at the smallest differnces or not?

I try to get the major variations such as the Classics and Kixx games and more noticable ones such as the Laser Ghost variations and the Speedball, Xenon 2 ones. I don't think I'll bother with the "Now, there are no limits! covers though.
My most prized cover variation that I have found though is the Sonic 2 one as I've only seen it a few times.
I'm still actively looking for the Air Rescue variation that Onyx got.

Yeah, I'm the same - major variations (Image Workd/Virgin, Classics, Kixx, US Gold, localized covers etc) - yes, minor variations ("No limits" text, 5/6/8 languages, copyright year differences, (R) symbol after Sega logo etc) - no.
Basically, if you are able to spot the difference without holding 2 copies side-by-side, I want them, otherwise I don't.

yup, if you pay attention to the little details you´ll never finish your collection, i for instance own 3 Wonderboy III games, in wich the letters used in the back cover are different between two of them!!!

What's that variant? You know, I have no interest in the Resuce variant there, though it does seem to be a beast. I like the other art better.

Whomever knows, are there a lot of games with french language on the box (ie the actual title, not a translation on the back), or is it just the Disney titles?

Hey, there's an insane master system lot on ebay.uk since today (you should find it easily, contains 180 games). I didn't notice this this afternoon, but the guy has listed marble madness with this little add-on "two different covers" I've checke smspower, there's only one cover. But as it's an imagework game, maybe the virgin cover variations exists ? Talking bout this, I've been looking for different us gold variations (you know, like out run europa, super kick off or indiana jones), but didn't find any until now. This marble madness (if it's real) made me feel like there's still too much to be discovered lol
