I'm not too bothered about variations. There is plenty of time to get all of those when I have all the other unique titles. The only "variations" I tend to buy is the Mark III version of the same game. Mainly because I like to have these for the artwork and generally having something to play on my JAP SMS. Occasionally If i notice a major variation I'll hang on to it. Such as the Xenon2, and Speedball variations. But as I said, my primary motivation for collecting is having the all unique games to play.

I really only care about the US variations because they're such a spiderpig to find and there are hidden ones I have yet to reveal...

Well im sticking to just one copy of each game now, collecting variants would take up precious space, and money that i can use for cool games on other consoles. Ive got a few US copies of games instead of European ones because i like the cover art a lot better, like ariel assault, ghouls and ghosts, activision cyborg hunter etc. The only variations i have are a few Japanese ones, but the FM music really makes such a difference to games like Outrun

Well, I mean that I replace the regular copies with the variants when I get them.

There is a picture of it on another thread somewhere from ages ago, if you search hard enough you'll find it.
