This topic of childhood games got me thinking about how small my universe was back then.
Until discovering this site and forum in 2011ish I didn't realize how big the SMS library really was.
Not only was I unaware of the 100+ additional games released in Europe but also many that were sold here in the US.
I was not then (and still am not today) a huge video game player.
For me I'd take playing any game involving a ball and being outside over video games.
Video games IMO are for when its raining and you can't go outside to play, ride a bike, etc.
Or maybe when you can't find someone else to play outside with.
Anyways, I didn't read about games in magazines or really have any opportunity to see what games were available for sale besides maybe a few trips to toys r us each year.
Besides the games listed on the back of the two posters included with US games (After Burner and Space Harrier collage)
I had no idea of the existence of any additional games.
I did also have the Euro type 3 poster seen
here which came with some of the games I bought when I moved to Singapore.
Very similar to After Burner as far games listed on the back.
SO HERE is the tiny bit of the SMS universe that I was aware prior to 2011
Less then 100 in total... between the three posters.
