I have a SMS power base(Brazilian version) and I find hard to remove the carts from the system, as I have to put a lot of force in order to change the cart. I don't know if the pinout is too tight or the Brazilian carts were poorly made but I'm really afraid of breaking my system/ games. I'd appreciate any help. Also, sorry for my bad english XD

If you think it's the pin-connector you can try bending them inward by opening the unit and manually doing it. Not really recommended, but you could try it. Never heard of such a problem.

One of my Model 2 Gennys is like that, I feel like I'm gonna buckle/break the outer case I have to hold it down so hard to get the carts out. So I don't use it, it's a back up... maybe if I used it more it would loosen up!

You may try putting some WD-40 on the pins. Don't spray directly on the connector, just put very slight amount with a cotton swab (q-tip).

I took the lid out but there was nothing I could do. i even disassembled the cart to see if there was any non fitting part.
That's exactly how it feels... Maybe I should play a little less Mega Drive and little more master system to see if it gets looser.
I don't think I can find WD-40 here in Brazil. If I do find, I'll apply it.

I own you the integrity of the only console I have found complete in the box. Thanks a lot!!!
