Your question wasn't that dumb, because the 2 controllers were indeed needed in an earlier version of the game, and it has been corrected since

This is still looking so awesome!
Is there any chance that we can get this put onto a cart when it's done?

I just played this version and I love it.
I'd love to see Jim from Captain Silver and Rastan on this.
This has to get a cart release once it's finished!

Thanks for the nice comments !
I think there will be some carts, but a very limited number, mostly for my friends and people who helped me make the game.
However you'll be able to make your own carts since I'll release all what will be needed for that (ROM, image files for cover and cart art, manual...).

Hopefully you decide to release a couple dozen limited ones available to us on here! Id definitely try to find a way to pony up some funds to get me one. Im not very talented on the "make my own" stuff.

I won't make more than a dozen, I don't own the rights to the characters and music in the game, so the release must be limited.
You can find cart makers about everywhere, so you'll probably won't have to make it yourself.

Hi I have just tried your latest version on to my sega arcade master stick and wow it really is a cracking game i have to say its way better than any thing i seen before.
I think it would be nice to see this released on to a cart for others to enjoy too and to reap some reward for your hard work put in to this.

Thanks ! This is the kind of comments that helps keeping the motivation high I don't plan to make any kind of money with that game, I don't wan't any legal trouble from Sega.

I still think that it´s a pity to make an 8 bit game on 16 a bit machine. The same story with Uwol, if anybody heard about it. To ´waste´ MD carts (for physical releases) is not that great in my opinion (if the carts are new, then it´s okay maybe, if it´s not as terrible as the 1985 Alternativo material).

I think it's a good idea in the sense that the MD has a bigger overall audience, and it could expose some of those gamers to SMS games that they might not have heard of before. Also, I suspect that this game might be technically beyond the SMS capabilities, for example the number of colors used for sprites.

Exactly, technically it's not an 8 bit game, depending on which characters you choose, there can be more colors on the screen than what the SMS can display. And besides bigger audience, it's also much easier to create such a game on the Megadrive, there's less need to optimize.
As for "wasting" MD carts, there are lots of shitty loose games that could this way get a better fate than the trash bin !
