Congratulations, I know what you mean :-) (2 months old today)
We'll have to arrange who brings what closer to the time, we usually have three or four consoles and whatever games people want to play.

As usual I'm interested, but also as usual will depend on various things (wife's birthday is in July, several races I run are at weekends around then too).

Sorry to hear you cant make it Ninja, but good luck with the baby I've amended the thread title as I've had a discussion with Maxim about this years event being a cross forum one. So that Maxim can put a thread up on SMS Power! And their members can feel just as welcome as ours.

Sadly England is too far away for me^^ I was often thinking about a sega8bit event in Germany with german members. But I guess there aren´t enough german people here to participate.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year, I'll either have a new born in the house or a heavily pregnant missus, either way I'm sure I'll be needed at home! Definitely next year, that's two in a row I've had to miss! Ah man, that sucks. Surely your missus will let you out for a day? What are you doing having another kid anyway, it's going to seriously affect your time for gaming! Only joking mate, congratulations. Sadly England is too far away for me^^ I was often thinking about a sega8bit event in Germany with german members. But I guess there aren´t enough german people here to participate. Find a cheap flight and make a holiday of it ;D Would be awesome to meet up with some non-UK members.

I was thinking last year to join in but was very busy. This year I'm free but don't have the money... However there's a very small chance to turn up suddenly! I'll definitely participate one of the next years...

Thankfully to sega8bit, my english became better since I registered here in 2011. I don´t give up and one day I hope to meet all of you guys in real

Unless it is a multi day event with cheap housing, I think it would be too expensive...

any ideas which day this maybe yet? as I really need to book a holiday for the event I have mailed Gareth at the pub to ask which Saturdays are free for us to be able to use the space in July or August. Once I hear back i'll post up the options, maybe a poll.
