How many pages does the card version have? I bought one lately off ebay.com which looks completly different to the standard version, but got me thinking is there a console included manual or did i just score really lucky? Since the version i own is CB and hope its now CIB www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260841667328would be much appreciated because normally when i see segagames or what ever dojars is known by trying to sell "CIB" versions of this game is often has the standard PAL version manual. If it helps it has only has 8 pages. Thanks

That looks right to me, the console pack in version is much larger, and the cart versions is totally different too.

It certainly looks fine from the photos, although it's particularly minty-fresh looking - does it feel "right"? There was a guy selling fake CIB copies of this game a while ago and I think at least one member here got stung. It's a great deal if it's genuine though.

Yeah I got caught out by a fake Hang On, I believe the genuine article should have a shiny manual, rather than matte paper.

Yeah its all glossy theres slight dark patches on the back, strange seeing as it was a US seller i couldnt imagine someone selling a fake manual by itself without the card and box.

This has puzzled me for a while... why would a loose Australian manual end up for sale in the US? I think I've got to the bottom of it now though - this manual was used as a pack-in with the Sega Base System. Check out this auction here: www.ebay.com/itm/260905015153I'd say it's definitely the same manual, and would explain it's slightly mysterious appearance in the US. (Images saved here for posterity).

I'm pretty sure you're right, I bought a SMS lot awhile back and 2 of these booklets were included but no Hang-On cart/card or box with it. Both booklets were hidden in another games case.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - and for bumping an old topic - but I've realised that this is not the "correct" manual for the AUS card version of Hang On, since the text on the front of the manual is the wrong colour ("Hang On" should be written in black, not blue).

So the blue title version was released with U.S. base systems and the black title was with Australian boxed version? Just want to make sure I have this right.
