Hi all,
Really after some 3D glasses and am not having much luck in tracking some down.
I don't care what region they are from, I don't need them to be boxed and I don't even need the adapter card, I just want them to be in good working condition, free from major scratches and cracking if possible and at a reasonable price.
Send me a PM if you can help out or post here if you have some leads that I could follow.
Postage to Australia will be required.

Yep, that looks perfect and is already in my watch list. Hopefully I get it and some crazy bid war doesn't pump the price too high.

Thanks. I spotted that one too and contacted the seller a few days ago, he wants $60 to post to Australia. It's a nice package but out of my budget.

No worries buddy.
That's a lot for postage - I'm sure there's a few cheaper alternatives if you asked him.
Welcome to the forums too - always good to see a few more Aussie collectors around!

Thanks for the welcome! I don't think he wants to bother with international posting, either that or he's not familiar with it. I imagine the whole package wouldn't weigh any more than the 2kg mark, should only cost about $30 or so with decent posting. If I can't find Sega glasses I'll start hunting for Famicom glasses, they work just as well and are more comfortable to wear from what I've been told. They can be a little pricey though. Sucks having a few 3D carts that I can't enjoy.

That looks great, thank you for the tip!!! They still seem to be hard to find though. I found them on eBay but they are US based and the seller won't ship internationally. Would anyone here in the US be willing to buy them and post them to me, pretty please?

Yep, that's me bidding on them. I'm not prepared to go much higher than $40 or $50 though, and I'm pretty sure it will bid higher than that. Those generic glasses are turning out to be just as expensive. I've found a few places in the US that sell them for around $15-$20 which is great however they all want $30 for postage with a 3 week lead time! I just can't fathom that, $30 for a small package that would weigh no more than 200g. I even emailed a few of those US vendors and they refuse to ship it for any cheaper.

I finally managed to source some of those ASUS 3D glasses, the ones seen in that video above by meu2. Brand new in box and only $25 with postage. Thanks to meu2 for the great tip! I still endeavour to track down some SEGA glasses but at least the pressure is off now as I have a suitable alternative. Will let you know how the ASUS glasses work when they arrive.

Now that you're able to play the 3D games, I'd just take my time and look for something like shown in the above auction. That looks like a nice set including everything at a good price. Sometimes it's just better to pay a little more and be happy with the item the first time and not feel like you have to buy it again to complete it or to be happy with condition.

No problem, though I should point out it was Hirogaems tip to begin with. Btw, would you mind sharing where you sourced those glasses in the end?
