and im sure you could sell quite a few on ebay. That´s a bad idea. There are not many resellers out there who ever heard of the game, which is pretty good so. If he would sell them on Ebay, they begin to realize that it´s probably a fountain of money for them.. The main reason for Aypok and Playgen was to bring the game to people who want to play the game and enjoy it. That´s the spirit!

Sorry to disapoint anyone, but I've stopped making any more copies of the game, had to stop at some point. Perhaps I'll do some more at some day, since theres still some people wanting it, no promises though! How much were they?

I have version 1 on my everdrive, it is a free download on the smspower homebrew section as it was an smspower competition it was made for in 2006 I think?
If you are interested in homebrew I would download all 100+ of the homebrews on there, its a really nice resource that Bock and Maxim have put together for the community

That's not quite the same, though; the cartridge release has a bunch of extra stuff like music, extra levels and fixes to the levels to make the game more fair, etc. But yes, you are welcome to stick to the free version (think of it as a demo). Here's the link for those who don't have it: www.smspower.org/Homebrew/DiggerChan-SMS

I thought it would be interesting to count up how many copies of the game had gone to which countries. I suppose it gives a bit of an insight as to where the Master System is still most popular, or maybe just where there are people more interested in home-brew games perhaps. UK - 25 Germany - 18 USA - 9 France - 8 Australia - 6 Spain - 6 Sweden - 6 Belgium - 5 Canada - 3 Finland - 2 Brazil - 1 Denmark - 1 Greece - 1 Ireland - 1 Italy - 1 Norway - 1 Portugal - 1 I broke out my copy of Digger Chan the other day and fired it up.....so much fun and an absolutely beautiful job Playgen and Aypok! I thought your post about where each one went was interesting. I was wondering if you had a final tally on how many you made and where they went? I remember something around 100(ish), but was curious if you had the exact amount and where? I have my gem of a copy and will never get rid of it. Just awesome. For those who haven't seen it, I've attached a few photos. Gorgeous for a homebrew.

Glad you like the game :-) I do indeed have the final numbers: Country SoldUK - 34 Germany - 24 USA - 13 France - 11 Sweden - 9 Australia - 7 Spain - 6 Belgium - 5 Canada - 5 Finland - 3 Brazil - 1 Denmark - 2 Greece - 1 Ireland - 1 Italy - 1 Norway - 1 Portugal - 1 New Zealand - 1 Total 126 I didn't know what to expect at the time, given that there hadn't really been much homebrew released on any platforms. I could have sold more for sure, but actually making them was the real limitation. Since I wasn't doing it for any profit, it meant I couldn't really spend the time it took to keep making them or justify spending out on buying everything to make them. I'd like to see more homebrew games get made, there's still a demand for them.

Sorry for digging up this old topic again. What is the reason it won't play on genesis?

Sorry for digging up this old topic again. What is the reason it won't play on genesis? I'm pretty sure that wasn't ever figured out. It was 9 years ago so my memory on it isn't fresh (that's flown by quickly!) but I think it got to the point where we were just happy it was done and worked on all Master System consoles. I probably didn't test it on a Megadrive until quite late on. The version on the cartridges was the final update, nothing was done to it afterwards.
