can anyone shed a light into this area ? where they from and are they rare,i know someone with an afterburner by tonka and he's selling it

Dont know if these are rare or not to be honest, the only difference is that one the back of the box it says tonka where "now there are no limits" used to be. i have the tonka versions of rescue mission, global defence, afterburner and choplifter. i would think only the very serious collector would collect these box variations, for me personally its about playing the games, not looking at the box-art, so i dont bother with that stuff.

I beleive Tonka games were only released here in the US. I think most US SMS are from Tonka, as I have many.

dam ,i knew that why dident i think ! its on the back aint it in small print tonka games ive had a few lol
when the guy told me on the phone i thought he made it out to have a big tonka sign on it ;D
i am a serious collector as well as a serious game player i guess that once u have so many games u may as well go for the whole lot ?

hmm, i live in scotland in the UK, and have lots of tonka games. so they must have reasled them in the UK too Quite a few US games were also distributed in the UK (see the recent Buster Douglas Boxings on eBay UK), probably after the Master System died an early stateside death.
