The attendee list's looking a bit sparse. I haven't decided if I'm coming yet or not, because it's a bit hard to get home in the evening if you don't have a car. What's everyone else's excuse?

I have a wedding to go to on THAT very day, unfortunately, otherwise we were planning on coming since I sold a bunch of stuff and could afford the tickets.

With you included it would be 7 total, which is 3 less than last time I think.. I suprised more UK forum members don't want to attend, not even one new person.. |

I can bring 2 MS 1's if need be, one modified, one regular with av leads. I'll bring the Handle Controller & Footpedal along too even if we don't use them in the main competition.
2 weeks to go...I think we should get the final games finalized in order for everyone to practise!!!
By with Ian out the way I feel victory will be mine this year ;D

I won't be coming, The Boss is in no mood for it :S That sucks. :/ Maybe next year (when it'll hopefully be organised by someone who won't make a mess of things). Some good news: I've brought in most of the stuff needed and tested it (two 14" TVs, the 28" office TV, two SMS Mk Is -- one modded -- and two SMS Mk IIs - all working), so it all looks good so far. The only thing I've still got to bring are a bunch more controllers and the games. And food, or is someone else handling that? Back to the games: I guess we can decide what we're playing on the day. I'll bring a bunch of games mentioned so far in this thread (I'll confirm which ones when I've brought them in tomorrow) and the rest of you can bring games you want to play. Sound okay? |

We could draw the most popular games out of a "hat" on the day...otherwise it could be a very long night ...if we do it that way no one has the advantage of practicing just certain games. They will have to practice them all instead! |

I'll have my camera to take photographs, but won't be able to get them on-line until my 'net connection at home is fixed - which looks to be another two weeks away. Last minute call for equipment:We could do with some more power strips. We've currently only got one four-way strip, which is obviously inadequate. If someone could bring two more, that'd be great. Failing that, I'll buy a couple of cheap ones tomorrow or something. SMS control pads: I can't find any of mine (I have stacks of them, but I don't know where they are). Could one or three of you guys bring some? Current equipment (what we have): 2x SMS Mk I 2x SMS Mk II 3x TVs 2x Mega Drive arcade sticks 1x SMS joystick (only brought it because it was tangled with an RF lead) 1x 3D glasses (not tested them yet) 2x Light phasers (plus various other consoles we have lying around the office: SNES, Mega Drive, Neo Geo MVS, a couple of arcade boards and a supergun, Dreamcast (with resetting issue :()) Feel free to bring anything not on that list (or more stuff of what's on that list, if you think it'll be useful). I'll pick up some Pringles and cakes on Saturday morning. Maybe some lemonade/cola, if people want. Nice healthy food. Just a quick reminder: start time is 12:00, but I'll be here from about 10:00. It ends whenever we get bored. :) |
