I found this ages ago, but never realised it wasnt on the games database.

After completing the game, and you've seen the end credits and everything. A final message will appear saying: "Copyright by Falcom 1987, Presented by Sega"
when this has stopped scrolling up and is just sitting center screen, Hold down Down/Right, whilst holding... press Button 1. It will activate the Ys sound selection!!

Which has the entire game's soundtrack plus a few other sounds and another track called 'The theme of Aron' which doesnt actually appear in the game.

Sam, you are definitely the Y's king. I think I have a save state just before the finale - I'll have to try it out next time I get a chance. Is "The Theme of Aron" really not in the game? I've listened to the soundtrack so many times that song seems more familiar to me than anything else.

Maybe it's just not in this version. I might be the 'Y's King' but I've never played any other versions apart from this one on the sms.

I've played it so many times and never heard "The theme of Aron" in the main game.
and the music in Y's is probably as familiar to me as the music in Alex Kidd in miracle world.
