Hey there! My name is Matt and i'm from the west midlands. I could possibly be the youngest member of this forum at the tender age of 15! I first played SMS at my Nan's house when I was about 6 or 7. I loved going to my Nan's every sunday after church to play my aunt's master system. But not too long ago my aunt dumped it in the trash!  I am currently trying to salvage her SNES before that gets cast into the firey pits of hell. Anyway, i've recently become interested in collecting and playing retro games. I've been scouring eBay for bargains and hope I can find something at the local market/car boot sales. My fave SMS games have got to be Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Sonic the Hedgehog, Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse, and Wonder Boy in Monster Land. Wish me luck in finding myself a system in the near future. ;D Any other members from the west midlands? Let me know!  |

Hey, dude - welcome to the forum. That sucks about your aunt's SMS - but they're thankfully quite easy and cheap to acquire.
I'm also from the West Midlands (I think there's one other member who's from around here, too), but I have yet to come across any good SMS finds at car boots. Not that I search the whole of the West Midlands each weekend. :) I occasionally find a system every few weekends, usually with Sonic or some such common-as-muck game.

Welcome to the forum. I think we actually have a few younger members but not sure how old.. everybody acts about the same age on here anyway so you would know.

I can't just let you steal all the good stuff. :P Well, what's local to me may not be local to you - the West Midlands isn't a small place. :) I've only ever bought one SMS game from a car boot sale, and that was only to get my total with a seller up to an even tenner (the game with a few pence). You're more than welcome to visit all of my local car boots and buy all the SMS games - as long as you leave the retro computer stuff for me! :P |

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll be able to find out loads about the system just from trawling through the threads here! As Ruprt said, it really doesn't make a difference how old the members are here - young or old we probably all act the same!!
