Hey!!Max new here from Toronto born in 75 .I just have decided to star collecting master system stuff and figured this is the place to be .My first system was an atari 2600 also hung around the many arcades that used to be downtown back in the day ..back then there were about 5 or 6 in a few blocks and now the last one that managed to survive has closed so finding pinball and classic arcade machines in this city is getting tough. After the atari 2600 which i still own came the master system, not sure the year but must have been the first year it came out or second .Everyone had the nintendo so i had to be different as always and get the sega ....gald i did .I played black belt and quartet at least 4 hrs a day for a long time . I dont remember what happened to that system due to my skateboarding and partying but here i am at 33 yrs old and have decided to give in to that nerd that been screaming to get out all these yrs .I want to own all the games i had when i was a kid and when i get a bee up my ass about collecting something i am possesed so its all over .I have just started collecting so iv got a long road ahead of me .Anyone in the T dot when anything for sale feel free to drop me a line . Im looking for boxed games and clean master systems .Nice to see such a killer site for the master system .Happy to be amongst like minded people cheers!!

Welcome to the forum. Your in the right place, there are always members here with stuff for sale! Infact I myself will be posting up a list of over 100 games in a couple of weeks.
What does your collection consist of so far? Are you going for a complete set? Canadian, US or Euro? Or even Brazillian, Aus or Japanese stuff? Personally I try to get everything and hope the collecting will never end ;D

Welcome to the site, dude - you've certainly come to the right place if you're looking to collect. :) <off-topic> Infact I myself will be posting up a list of over 100 games in a couple of weeks. I hope you'll be listing all the minor differences ("®", "sm", etc) about each game so I can maybe get a few more variations. :) </off-topic>

So now you have asked I will do just that :)

Hi madmax, welcome to the site! nice to hear your story, and a shame as you say about the decline of video game arcades, even places that used to have a bunch of arcade machines such as swimming pools and leisure centres don't seem to have them any more around where I live. I've been to Toronto and loved it way back when I was a difficult teenager in 1994.... when the system was still popular in Britain, but had long since died in North America! I have photos of me on the glass floor in the CN tower, it was scary stuff! ;D Had a guided tour round the Skydome, ate in Hard Rock Cafe and got to see pictures of Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior! ;D Also went to the Water Festival in Hamilton, where I was staying. Would love to go back sometime!

My collection is just a master system and four boxed games right now but like i said i get crazy when im into something so i m sure it will grow pretty fast. I would like to get mostly all the titles released in the US and Canada, once thats finished i will go for the NIB systems and euro games AS for the cn tower it has a light system that costs millions now and it changes colours at night (the whole flipping tower glows ). It still has the trippy glass floor .Not sure if the hulk hogan and ultimate warrior pic are at the hard rock tho hahaha!!!! Might be replaced by Trish Stratus or the Rock. Cheers up!!

How can you be "half" Canadian? You were either born in Canadia or you weren't.

How can you be "half" Canadian? You were either born in Canadia or you weren't. unless his mother gave birth to him directly on the border line between the US and Canada. Or perhaps he lost several limbs in an accident, and had transplants from a person born in a different country.

How can you be "half" Canadian? You were either born in Canadia or you weren't. Cos my dad was from Canada so thats why i said that. Atleast am not like the people down in England that say they are Asain when they clearly aint as they were born in England. They say their Asain cos their parents are from India or Pakistan etc Would only make them half I guess. But lots wont say their English. Rupert, i posted so many welcomes as am a very nice person :)
