Hey Guys! Just popped in to see what all the SMS fuss is about I know a few members already and although I am a Super Famicom collector I do like my sega stuff as well and am a retro gamer in general so am looking forward to having a look around and finding out some info on the sms! I live in Glasgow, Scotland but am origionally from Gravesend in Kent, England! 31 years old...............so 8 bit and 16bit are really where my heart lies when it comes to gaming........although I do enjoy my 360 as well! Easy!

Welcome to the site, do you have a SMS to play yet? ahem..........no not yet!. I do have about 15-20 games though and a GG convertor.......does that count? ;D 99% of my gaming collection is of Japanese gaming and most of that is SFC (over 500 boxed games)...........but I wouldn't mind a Jap Sms if the chance ever came up! When I plat sms it is usually on my pretty full rom set on my xbox......or is that frowned upon around here

Well as long as you play sms games thats the main thing! although having the real stuff is always nicer. The Jap sms is great, the FM music adds a lot to games like R-type, plus you get 60hz speed without the need to modify. Just looked at your collection pic on your site, looks very impressive.

That collection pic is about 2 years old........I have about double that now (have been bulking up on my Jap GC and Saturn stuff recently) More recent photos of my sfc stuff were in retro gamer a couple of months back (issue 47 i think) Also, how much should I be paying for a boxed jap SMS........(i need everything to be complete and good condition )

Around £70-£100 seems the going rate on ebay for a complete Jap sms. Yahoo auctions will no doubt be cheaper, but postage will drive the price up.
