Hey everyone,
I've finally registered on this site, but have been around the master system scene for a long time. My name's Tarick and if you have ever belonged to the old sms@timsnet.com mailing list, you'll know who I am.
I was born in London Ontario, but am living and working in Edmonton Alberta now with my wife and son.
I've been playing the master system since its launch and it has always been the best system I've ever owned.
I have a complete U.S/Canadian Master System Collection and am starting to get in to some of the Euro releases.
See you around the forums!

Welcome dude ;D I am/was on the sms@timsnet.com list, but it seems like that has been dead for years now. I can't remember the last time there was a message. Do you know if it still exists?

Welcome to the forum. Have you got any interesting items in your collection? Thanks Rupert. Let's see, I have a US Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as a complete Sega Scope 3D set realeased in Canada. I've owned about 5 complete copies outrun 3-D, but traded 4 of them, and kept the most mint copy. Outrun 3-D was released in Canada, and every copy I've owned I've purchased in London Ontario for less than 5 bucks each . T

Welcome, I never used the sms@timsnet.com mailing list, what was that like? The sega master system mailing list was created before internet forums became popular. It was a simple distribution list that people would sign up for to keep in contact with sega master system fans and collectors from all over the world. Omar Cornut for example was a member, I am sure you all know him, as well as some other pretty active people in the online master system community. Many of the members built their own websites, like Thoja Enwizz, check it out: www.elafountain.vze.comT

Hey Fruno, the list is officially dead. I did pull together a list of every member that had ever contacted me from the mailing list and created my own distribution list. I had sent an email out last month, and many people got back to me, which was nice. I think mailing lists are being taken over by forums though, which is cool, it's a much better medium if you ask me. T T

Sorry everyone, I just realized that I posted all of those messages as a guest. Those responses were all from me obviously.

Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you've been into the system for quite some time then! There are quite a few members here who have too, and a lot of good discussion goes on. I'm sure you'll be able to give some great input!
