Hi, I discovered a new version of the Master System 2 called "Master System 2 Plus X". Here you can see pictures of it: img354.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pict2365bz0.jpgmastersystem-museum.de/systems/ms2_4.htmlI know that it was ONLY sold in Germany on Christmas 1992 as a limited edition. I just wanted to let you know it that such a version exists. So it could be interesting for collectors. Or does anybody of you already has one (grupert or sega_australia)?

It was nice to see those pictures. I'd only ever seen a tiny picture of it on ebay before, and had incorrectly assumed it was a special football edition. That German sms museum site is all in black and white - bit of an odd choice.

Very strange game combination. Alex Kidd, absolutely necessary. Sonic, a nice addition and well beyond what you need to start playing. Super Tennis? What the feck? What's the deal with the title 'Plus X'? If they're referencing Christmas with the whole XMas thing that's kind of funny because really the X is supposed to represent the Greek letter Chi, so essentially, if that's what they were intending, the box says Plus Christ.

stan: "ein super tennisspiel" stands for wimbledon (it's the "awesome tennis game" that is included ) This set is basically nothing more than the basic sonic set with a cardboard thingy around the box (a little bit like the master system II plus)
