Here in Norway the outlets are different to the ones in the UK. Since I am moving to Wales and will also bring all my SEGA stuff with me offcourse (though it has to wait a while, not really sure how I will get it over yet either) I wondering if the UK power adapter would work with my consoles. On the adapter I got it says: Input: 220V~50Hz Output: 10V.-.-.0.5A I gonna be buying at least one more power base I and II when I am in the UK (maybe try and get boxed versions) so I will get 2 power adapters there. So if those would work with the consoles I allready got that would be great . Also, what is a boxed SMS II worth? (Perfect condition) And same with a normale boxed SMS I? (Perfect condition) (I guess this might have changed when I will be buying some because its still a while till I can start buying sega stuff again... Also I guess I gonna have to start trading games now to get more games even though I dont want to trade away my spare ones .

Master system and megadrive have all the power conversion done in the power supply - the consoles all use the same voltage no matter what region they are from. So yes UK power supplies will power them fine.

Other consoles have built in power converters, and just have a simple standard lead to plug in the mains - dreamcast, saturn etc. If you look at the bottom of such consoles you should find they accept 220-240v.
Are you really sure you want to move to Wales? it has good points like beaches and such, but bad points like a lack of decent jobs.

Try and find a 9V 1A power supply like those for Megadrive 1, its the most versatile power supply around, I have some and they are great, power LOTS of retro consoles, and if the tip is different you can just make a little adaptor cable really easy..
