I'd like to see more information on sms sales. I was looking at a website which listed the biggest selling games of all time the other day, there wasn't a single sms game on it. And im sure that was because sega didn't release figures for them openly, there must be some sms games that sold a million+ copies I reckon.

The Ninja, Sonic 1 and 2 are good bets methinks.

These highest selling games lists always count pack in games too, so I don't see why Alex Kidd shouldn't count, and that game is built into millions of consoles surely.
Sonic 2 would definitely be a million plus seller, if tectoy and euro sales were put together I'm sure it would be a massive number. But keeping sms sales numbers unknown is all part of the conspiracy of making people believe Nes saved the gaming industry and no other consoles existed, bah!

I wonder how the gaming world would look today if the NES had never exsisted, it would be like the parellel dimension on Back to the Future 2 when martys mum marrys bif and has big boobs.

Sega would have done much better with the SG1000 if the nes wasn't around, probably would have released it in US and Europe. Then they probably would have still released a follow up console just like the markIII/sms - since they based consoles on their arcade hardware designs. And Master System would have ruled the world, and the very idea of playing a game featuring a plumber eating mushrooms would have seemed preposterous. Well either that or computers would have taken an even stronger foothold in gaming, with MSX, C64, Amiga etc selling even more.
