I've been told that most Master System games really don't look that great on the Master Gear Converter-is this true? Otherwise, this looks like a pretty neat add-on. It's just a shame, IMO, that there was never a device made to allow you to play GG games on the SMS.

The ones I've tried have been ok. There was a certain amount of loss in the image quality, nothing terrible, but you do notice it compared to straight GG games. There are a number of diferent makes of converter, maybe some are better than others?

how many different types of converter are there? Don't know for sure, they're all third party but the two most common ones are the Master Gear and the Gear Master. I think I've seen one or two other variants.

There's the Master Mega from HES That's for playing SMS games on a MegaDrive, not a GameGear.

I think I saw a few regional variants. Think there was an Aus one and maybe a US specific one too.
