Forgive me if this has already been mentioned. But i think we should have an add hardware section on the hardware database because there are loads of 3rd party stuff which isn't mentioned and to be honest it is abit thin on the ground hardware wise also there are quite alot of things like for instance the rapid fire unit which need alot more information and pictures.

i'm personally scared of the quality that may be submitted if this access was opend for general use. I know Andy is working on the Hardware database at the moment as I have sent quite a few pictures over for it recently.
As for the Rapid Fire unit - Ive got 3 variations of packaging for that - I think i'd like to see packaging variations on the database, not sure if that ha been discussed yet?

This has been discussed before in the main hardware forum. As I said before, if the hardware database is an on-going project. It takes a great deal of time to add everything in. If you want to help with it your help would be most appreciated. Just write up and article and describe the characteristics of the hardware in a word document, try to find as much information about different versions released in different regions. And finally include some high-resolution images of the item in various packaging states. If possible get pictures of variations too. Once you've done all that, zip up all the files and send them to me at andy@sega8bit.com and your work will be posted.
