Are all of the Brazilian games on the database? Im just asking because Bock has put up that trades list and I can't find either Chapolim x Drácula - Um Duelo Assustador or Sapo Xulé S.O.S. Lagoa Poluída on the database, is this because they are varients or are they just missing? Also are there any other smissing?

Yeah it would feel like a totally different game if you think the original game is Power Strike It's actually a hack of Astro Warrior with the sprites hacked, and the background changed from black to green

Random thread resurrection...
There should be some mention of Chapolim.
The only reference is under the card version of Ghost House, which says: "Later re-released in cartridge form in Europe & Brazil (see seperate entry)."
Then the separate entry for the cart version doesn't say anything about it.

Personally I'm undecided on this issue. I can understand that the games are seperately released games, but essentially they are just variations and hacks... I think perhaps they should get seperate entries, but then do we add in other variants such as the foreign named disney games etc too? They were released seperately too of course.... I'm not sure where the line should be drawn... I'd like to hear other members' opinions on this.

All the games with different titles should have thease added notes.

That sounds good to me too. It's a little bit trickier with a game like Chapolim though, being that Geraldinho and the Sapo Xule hacks already have separate entries in the database.

Stan and Anagrama did much of the inputting/deciding what had to be entered or not.
Sapo Xule and Geraldinho seem to have been entered at a later date with no proper information/release dates or no pictures. This makes me think someone else besides Stan or Anagrama has added these. We really need to work on our consistency.
I personally think hacks should be ignored and added as alternate names under the original game release name. I know this makes it more difficult if you don't know what the original version of the game is, but if we add in all the Brazilian entries it's going to look messy, and lead to a lot of duplicate entries for the same game. By this logic each Japanese game would also have a separate entry, since the titles don't 100% translate.

Hi! I agree with Sinistral about ignored hacks but I think that may happen some confusion in the database. Well the game was released twice, one as hack and another as the orignal. Example is the Ted Boy who is also the geraldinho. How put both in DB? Maybe cases like Nuclear Creature its more easy because they had only exchanged, but I fear that hacks confusing. If like I can translate brazilians covers like Monica and Sapo Xule and someone can correct my text and put in database. God bless the people that understand what I writing! =)
