Is there any way to change the font colors for the board? The blue on blue makes it hard as heck to read.

I find the same thing. My monitor is super awesome, so I have to turn down the brightness lest I get blinded. When I do that, it makes the blue links on the blue background hard to read. A lighter blue for the links would be better. Or pink.

Yeah the blue/black/white combo is terrible.
Use a lighter baby blue like for the background and use a black font on a white background.

I don't know if baby blue would be good. Too dainty and delicate. Maybe a washed out blue for the background, or leave the BG and change the link text colour to something like grey or very light blue so it stands out against the white text as a link.

This has come up before, and I seriously can't see why. I have no problem with reading the text, on any monitor. On LCD monitors it can be hard to read if your looking at it from an angle, but thats a flaw of LCD monitors, unless your looking straight on then the colours aren't right.

I'll admit the colour of the links isn't perfect, but it's far from unreadable - it's fine on all the CRT and LCD monitors I've tried.
The only thing I don't like is the difference in colours between the "new posts" and "no new posts" icons on the forum index. When very tired, it takes me an extra few seconds to work out which forum has new posts.
But on a serious note; if you use a web browser (Opera is ideal -- but I think FireFerret can do it, too), you can create your own CSS and use them. I don't use one on this site, but I do on others - it's a very useful feature.

I've never even noticed those new post icons before, took me a while to realise what you were on about. I have always just looked at the column on the right, and see what time/day the last post was for each section, as I remember what sort of time I had last visited.
I've created another forum skin which people can use instead if they want. Click on the Profile icon, Modify Profile, and you'll be able to change from Default skin to the new one.

Allthough somtimes if theres abit of sunlight on my screen its very difficult to read the blue on blue I really dont want anything to change. I like the forum colours and find it to be nicer than white with black text forums (i.e. RP and RG forums)

That's quite a nice theme - I like it. It's a little too bright for my liking (that's not a complaint), so I'm sticking with the default one. :)

How dare you say that! I'm sticking with the original one too, don't want it to change after all these years of visiting. Hopefully the new skin will be ok for those with poor eyesight who probably need glasses

Although I can't read them - my eye-sight is terrible. :)

Not making fun, if you can't read the text then perhaps you ought to have an eye test.

I think it vary on monitor/settings. I could read it well on some setup, but on my work computer where I sit all days, I cannot read the blue on blue at all, or I have to get 10 cm close to the screen.
