Okday Ive been looking alot latley on Mercado and Ive noticed that a fair few rare European games seem to be almost common in Brazil, most notably Masters of Combat and according to Melanogaster Spinball and Buggy Run, so I was wandering if it would be possible to put a basic rarity guide of Brazilian games on the main site, then tweak it as needed.

I was thinking it might just have the opposite affect, if people know they can get a rare game on the cheap in Brazil they may not bother paying the sort of sums that are getting so common on ebay, but on the other hand it might just make varients more expensive and certain Tec Toy games worth more. Why can I never think of a solution that won't get complicated?!

Im not sure theres a real need for a brazilian rarity guide. Most of the games were rleased in europe, and the majority of the exclusive games are rubbish - so only collectors are bothered about getting them. We all know the likes of Ecco 2, arial, mickey ultimate challenge are rare, i dont think theres a whole lot of point in trying to figure out exact rarities for everything else.

I doubt theres very much euro stuff you could get cheaper on there than you could on ebay, especially trying to get it in decent condition

How much of an extra cost?

Nobody there uses paypal, bank transfer seems to be the most used method, but that can be silly expensive, its not a lack of knowledge of rarity that stops people using mercadio, its all the hassle of paying. Its about time paypal was used over there.

Well if bank transfers are the only way of sorting it it probaly would be too expensive, those things are unbelivably expensive, all the bank is doing is transfering money from one account to another, why they even need to charge is beyond me, it can't cost them more than about 10p a go.

Lucky you, it cost me £10 if only Britain could get the Euro with no problems!

It's something I'd like to do eventually, but won't happen anytime soon unless anyone else wants to help work on it too (get in touch if that's the case). I certainly wouldn't want to put a "rough" guide up though - a poorly researched guide does more harm than good. It'd have to be done properly or not at all.

Well, if help is needed, I can be of some use, maybe. There are a few sellers on MercadoLivre that will ship internationally, but it's indeed expensive. Some time ago, a german guy asked the seller for the postage costs of one of the auctions I was watching. I remember the seller answering something like US$75,00, and that would be for just one game. krooper13: this list would be about rare SMS games in Brazil or rare games in Europe that are common in Brazil?
