Clint Dyer had a big collection of Sega stuff (including prototypes) he accumulated while working at Sega and sold all of them in 2000-ish years. Clint was a great guy to work with. We did some things together on the Genesis when I ran Sega Visions magazine for GamePro Publishing. I would be up for a live chat sometime and am happy to share what I remember from the SMS days. One caveat, my knowlege goes back 20 years so many of you fans may have info I've foregotten! If there is sufficient interest in a live chat, Stan can get back to me to set it up. And yes, I still use the beach towel and my GF looks really hot wrapped in Sega... Best, John

yo stan. thanks for the great interview. great questions and yes, even better photos! and john, if you get to read this, thanks for taking part in the interview and underlining why the sega 8 bit community is the best! My pleasure, it is great to see all the appreciation for this awesome system. And it wasn't a mullet! My hair looked just as good as Don Johnson's and Simon whateverhisname is from Duran Duran lol! -John

Hey John, like many others, thanks again for doing the interview! If/when you do a live interview, I have a question about the early days of the Genesis.

Wow, thanks for posting! Sure, I'd love to do an instant chat with you. We were playing around with doing a chat system here awhile ago, but this might be time to put something together. Or we could just chat sometime online. Do you use AIM? By the way, my next interviewee is an old friend of yours whose trying to get in contact with you, so I'll forward you the email. I'm sure everyone will be into this, so if we get enough people we can get another list of questions up or something, perhaps even a group chat, and then use this for another article or an addition to the one I completed.

How does this work would you be able to keep the current interview to add things or what?
