All this dislike about retroboy seems to be a big issue for a lot of you so lets have a good old thread dedicated just for him ;DMyself only dislike retroboy for the time he asked me for a deal on some sms stuff and said they were for his own collection but after I sent them they were soon on eBay at double the price - since then I wont do any out of eBay deals unless I get the price I want from him
On eBay he is more than welcome to buy anything from me and has bought games from me since the little episode above and all has gone well
And since eBay is an auction site and as many say all is fair in love and eBay then I say let retroboy be and let his selling carry on, it will either increase the rarity in some games which would benefit most of us or it will leave him with a dozen of each rare game that he cant get rid of and probably a good few hundred bum games he cant even give away! If he wants to buy my games for the price i want and resell them at double the price then i cant see anything wrong with trying to make a good living? after all no one here has to buy his games as they can be found elsewhere other than in retroboys shop of over priced gamesHe is an on online pirate! not a cheat but just out to make some quick money and if you ask me i doubt he is hardly making enough to pay his electric bills but if it makes him happy then im happy for him

How about him buying like everything good for an too high of a price so that other won't be able to buy them?

for anyone who already has most of the sms games, he isnt a problem. But for people still trying to get rare games for a reasonable price, he is a annoying idiot, bidding on all of them. He actually bids the amount that the game is normally worth (£20 for outrun 3d for example), thats why if he wins it he sells it for double. I bet he doesnt make much money out of it, not when you consider the huge amount of time it must take to hunt all these games down, list them, package and send them. He probably get something like £1 for every hour he puts in. You cant get rich selling sms games!

Please, don't give him any more time than he warrants, certainly not his own thread. As I said before, my big issue is that he came on here pretending to be interested in SMS and a collector and he got all his information about rare games from here and then proceeded to outbid us and sell them on for higher prices.
No offence onyx, but can we delete this? He really doesn't deserve his own thread.

Hey onyx, for someone like you ready to put hundreds of pounds on 1 game he is missing, the guy ain't any problem. But when you want to buy all the rare games for cheap (yeah, that's my way of collecting and I've done pretty well until now, not talking about master system here ) he is terribly annoying. Buying the games for more than what they are worth and then trying to resell them twice the price... How can you hope finding good deals on ebay with a guy like him ? He made ebay fooking boring for the master system (yes, buying stuff for cheap on ebay is one of my favourite past time. And so ? ;D )

I'm inlcined to agree with Tonto here. The guy's a blinking leech, but we don't need to re-hash it here every day.

Yeah tbh I'm sick of hearing about this guy and his sad exploits, let’s just stop encouraging him with posts talking about him like this.

The main reason i started this thread was because i noticed about 4 in 10 threads ended up talking about him even though the thread started about something else all together
Just trying to do the right thing guys but can we all agree to stop talking about him everywhere else then?

Interesting thread this one! Onyx is right, most of the threads do turn onto the subject of retroboy at some point so we may as well absue him in one place rather than pollute the rest of the site with it. But you other guys are right too, giving him his own thread is way above what he is worth - but still, most of us have pretty strong feelings about him, so how about we stick them all in one place because, lets face it, he is going to continue to be talked about. My problem with him is that basically, he is pimping the SMS and atrifically driving the prices of any decent game up in the short term. I would say in the past 4-6 months, about 75% of the stuff I have bid on has also been bid on by him. And it frustates me that a decent find is going to be sold for a stupid price in his shop, rather than go to a good home. The guy is an absolute prick though

Retroboy bought Dynamite Dux off me for £2.99, I wonder how much it will end up in his eBay shop at?
I was quite gutted as it looked like he wasnt going to pay and I was going to file non payer.. but he stumped up in the end!

I have bought retroboy a game, but I think that the finished price of the bid was very good.
The game was Cheese Cat-Astrophe (complete) and the price was 6,14 pounds + 3 pounds (postage costs to Spain)
I think that I had good luck
