It would be good if some of these NES games were reprogrammed for the SMS and released as ROMS.

Its true that master of darkness looks like a direct copy of castlevania. But its just not the same as the original, something is missing
And Battletoads were released for the Master System at least i've got a rom with that game called Battlemaniacs

Friday the 13th, low g man & WWF Wrestlemania challenge (not steel cage challenge) would have been good too. But some of those other games you have bben saying would never happen like mario 3 or Zelda or Kirby

Yes, Battlemaniacs was released in Brazil only I believe. How is that one? I always figured it a port of the game gear version.

No the Master System is really different compared to the game gear version. 2 Player Mode, Other Levels and way better Graphics. It's far better, imo

I would have to say Zelda, the series was and still is excellent but as ASTRO said this would never happen. I always liked Rad Racer but nobody seemed to like it castlevania is another of my favorites.

Never say never. 10 years ago nobody would've expected to play sonic on an nintendo system and now you can. Altough its a shame, that sega produce for nintendo, imo. Some other games which would be cool on sms are Donkey Kong, 1942 and bomberman but only if it comes with a 4 player adapter

Well, i have excellent news for you, in 1993 rare was developing the game for Virgin, but it never came out (much like fire & ice). But our beloved Tec toy released the gamesome years later and it´s a very cool one. ;D ;D
