Finally! I knew there was codes for this game. But I have to say, credit goes to Maxim for these. I had a hunch but he figured it out. Thanks goes to him.

Continue codes
If you run out of lives on a particular level, enter the corresponding code on the title screen and press 1 to continue from the same stage.
The time limit to enter the code is shorter than the time it takes for the demo to start, so don't enter the code too slowly.

Great! Another game that's had tons of published codes that never worked before finally gets some working codes.

here is another cheat.

You will need 2 controllers pluged in,

Simply start the game normally with controller 1 and when you die and the Gameover scrolls quickly grad controller " and press start to continue this works through level 1 and 2.

2-player continue codes
To continue in 2-player mode, when you see the 'Game Over' message, input the code corresponding to the current level:

Level 2 (Ashura only)	U, D, U, D, U, D
Level 3	U, D, L, R, 1, 2
Level 4	D, L, R, 1, 2, U
Level 5	L, R, 1, 2, U, D

In Secret Command/Rambo II, player 2 can join in from level 1 or 2. You have infinite continues for those levels.

In Ashura, player 2 can only join in from level 1. You only have infinite continues for the first level.

There is no code for Level 6.

This cheat has been masquerading about on the internet for quite a while as something like:

"To continue, have both players must hold down 1 + 2 and rapidly press Left and Right. This only works after level 3."

Rotating your d-pad and pressing buttons 1 + 2 will likely trigger the proper continue codes, so I'm guessing this is where this slighly inaccurate listing comes from.
