Firefox 1.0 has been released and it's a fast, secure, pop-up free, tabbed browser which you really should test! Why? Why not since it's free and it so much better than Internet Explorer and all it's security problems. Download Mozilla Firefox for free!

Yes it is! I thought that version 0.9.3 was really lame, but 1.0pre is really a so much greater experience! All you Internet Explorer users should really learn how to use tabbed browsing in Firefox and you will have a much better forumtime.

Onyx: Firefox is only a 4.5MB download so take a look!
Here is a couple of things Firefox does right:
* Tabbed browsing. Firefox can have mulitple websites open at the same time in the same window. When you have get used to it you will never want to be without it again!
* Popup Blocking. Stop tiresome Popup windows!
* Better security. Firefox keeps your computer safe from malicious spyware by not loading harmful ActiveX controls!
* Faster! Firefox renders the webpages much faster than Internet Explorerer!
* Smarter Search! Google Search is built right into the toolbar, and there are a plethora of other search tools like eBay and Dictionary built in aswell!

Firefox definitely rules. You dont get infected at all. Ads are no problem.

B: You are right man! Did you download Firefox because I told that it was the best browser in the world or had you used it for a long time?

Has anyone else had problems getting plug-ins for it though?
I just tried to get Flash Player 7 but it wont download. I agreed to the terms and it went to the download page but nothing happened. Does it just take a while?

RetroReserve: Check out this page it might help you: texturizer.net/firefox/Anyway I didn't have to install any plugins. Flash, Java, Shockwave just worked from start, because I allready these plugins installed on my system. Maybe it's a difference between the Windows version and the Mac version which I'm using, but I don't think it should be. I hope you will get a better experience surfing the web since with Firefox! Pop-up windows where are you? ;D
