i guess that almost everyone on here has a love for music as its been a constant subject just recently but who in your life time has been your most influential person in music ,if you play guitar, drums, piano, bass ect it could be anyone who plays these or if you just one certain song writer who you feel has helped you through certain parts of life

Hmmmm, I don't know, I've played piano for a long time, so I guess in that area I'd say that Eric Satie and Debussy were big influences for me. As far as popular music goes, nothing beats the Boredoms for a good pick-me-up.

I can't play piano, but I fukking love Gymnopédies and La Mer. I'm not generally into classical music but I thinK those composers and the likes of Ligeti and Wagner were sort of the forerunners to some of my favourite rock music. Musical heroes? Ian Brown. Ian Curtis. Ian Dury. Ian McCulloch. mostly Ians

I don't play, but the biggest musical influences on me are probably the Velvets, Sonic Youth, The Stooges, y'know all those cliched 'influential' bands

Really, they're not that bad. Too bad they only have like one really, really good song. I hate that when a band comes out with a song that's so good that it overshadows everything else they've done and thus they go into the history sucking forever.

Have you ever heard prodigy???
Poison, your love, Firestarter, breathe, Baby´s got a temper, Their law, Voodo People, Diesel Power, No good (start the dance)... just to name a few. And when they go live, it´s unbelievable.
Look for this songs, listen to them and then put some feedback here.

Honestly, it's been awhile since I heard them. I remember Voodoo people, but Firestarter was so good that's it all I really remember.
