Hello all. I've just joined and I'd like to say hello.
I'm a big time fan of all things Sega and can remember getting all excited at the new 'arcade perfect' possibilities of the new machine back in the day. I can remember the MS first time round when it was cutting edge ;D
I still have my original Master System 2 with the Alex Kidd pack-in title, though it's in retirement now.
cheers
Paul

I have 3 MS machines. My first one is missing the cover and is the one in retirement. I play on one of the other mk2 machines. The later one with Sonic as the pack-in game.
I been playing it a lot recently.

Cheers for the welcomes, guys. I do the whole retro-thing that's very popular these days. I'm 38 years old, totally into Sega stuff, but all gaming in general. Anyone who's been to Retro-Passion forum will know that I do the car-boot thing every week and scour the stalls for anything Sega related (a bit of broken crockery with Sonic on it? Hell yeah!) My favourite console ever is the Saturn, but I have and love all Sega stuff. I'm a collector, but only by default. I didn't set out to be a collector, but 17 years later I find myself with tons of machines and hundreds of games and a wife that thinks I'm a weirdo for taking copies of Mean Machines Sega and Sega Power to work every day.

Hey, a belated welcome, I always seem to be away for a few days when new members come around! So you have a good magazine collection too then? Old sega mags from back in the day is probably about my favourite thing to collect actually - I always ind that after you start reading one it's almost like you're back there and you look at things like the release lists an think 'wow, I'm gona get that' then remember.... 'oh, wait, it was like 15 years ago!' ;D

Was in the 'Attic Arcade' tonight - I have a converted loft with all my retro consoles hooked up to half a dozen TVs - playing MS Golden Axe with my 3 year old son when I decided to rearrange some of my mags. 2 hours later, I'm knee deep in copies of Mean Machines, Mega, Sega Zone and Sega Power. It's fatal to think you can just have a quick read

it's one of velentino rossis nicknames, I don't think there a proper reason behind it. Ive worked at the superbikes a few times and you see loads of bike nuts with 'The Docter' T-shirts. www.fanclubvalentinorossi.com/

it's one of velentino rossis nicknames, I don't think there a proper reason behind it. It's an Italian thing. In Italy, people like Doctors, Surgeons and other professional people are regarded as important and worthwhile. Rossi's just adopted that kind of thinking. That's how I interpreted the interview he gave on Italian TV a few years ago when asked about the doctor thing. I've followed his career since the 125 days. He's the master.
