I have been looking for a good SMS fansite for a while now and I really think this is the one I'll stick with.
Introductions you say....
I'm 18, lol, and have been playing SMS since I can remember. Tell you the truth, most of my early childhood memories came from the SMS.
Born October 15, 1988, my mother was actually playing SMS, Astro Warrior (one of my favorite games), when she first went into labor with me.
It was destined to be. I love SMS, and I am constantly trying to increase my libray of SMS games and accessories.
Favorite game has to be Shinobi, by far, but Shooting Gallery is a close second. I love the SMS Light Phaser.
But yes anyway, thats my introduction.

Great to have you here! And yeah, you should stick with this forum, it is defnately the best and friendliest one around!
Interesting that you say you love the light phaser, it's not something I've really heard anyne else say... personally I love it too, although I'm pretty terrible at most phaser games!
So what's your colection like then? And what are your main aims in collecting?

Welcome Thats a brilliant story, theres a theory that babies in the womb can hear music and it influences their brain development, perhaps its true with videogames And yes the light phaser is great, Operation Wolf is one of my favorite sms games

Right now I have a US SMS, with about 20 SMS Games, most boxed with magazines, nothing too expensive, just got back into it and I found out most of my games from back when I was young were damaged from moving place to place. So I've started buying games over again. I would really like to get my hands on a few games including: Golden Axe (haven't been able to find it locally or an ebay with a good S/H price) Gangster Town Alexx Kidd (was one of the damaged games which hurts me cause that was one of my top 10s) Right now my most prized games are Pro Wrestling, I don't know why but I always enjoyed that game although it was really repetitive), Wonder Boy 3: Dragon's Trap, Dick Tracy, Double Dragon, and ofcourse Shinobi.

Lol! Yeah, I actually have to admit I like pro wrestling! Always thought it was better than the rather rubbish Wrestlemania! you'll find euro golden axe on UK ebay no problem, and I'm sure a few members here will have spare copies!

Ah see but thats the problem, I'm seeing Golden Axe on Ebay for UK with postage of 5-10 pounds...
Thats 12-15, I'm trying to find something locally since I've only got a part time job can't exactly be spending 25 bucks on an 8 bit game with the holidays coming up.
Maybe after the holidays I will, but in the meantime, I'm trying to find something a little cheaper.
And o yea, I got really lucky the other day I found a place that had a box full of SMS games for 5 a piece, bought a bunch so, I'm gonna keep my eye out for sure.

Its well worth asking in independant video game shops, youd be supprised at what you can find if you ask, most of them seem to have backrooms full of old stock.
